Also in SMP voices would overlap eachother and it'd just **** everyone off, and I'm sure you would be the only one who would have it turned on in options.

Basically, the voices would form a line/queue and would not overlap, they would play one by one.

That wont work. Then it'll take ages to get a message from one person to another, by the time it does then it probably wont matter anymore.

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
Not really, if there was a long line it could play the messages at 2x or 3x speed.
Then you wouldn't be able to understand it and it would just become annoying. Can you please just face facts? This idea wouldn't work and would only serve as an annoyance if it were added.

To be honest this is a really bad idea, Iam (just as the other 95%) against this and I say the same thing, It would ruin the game. Voices would be a shitty improvement and only **** people off, plus the coding this would take? To make this sound good the game have to get around 50 times bigger... and thats even worse... No, this is something that never will happend because 95% of the community is against it.
Could you please give some constructive critisiscm? When posting on my thread please go to the effort of informing me how this idea could be improved.

For the last time: people don't give constructive criticism because the idea can't be improved! Why can't you understand that?

Well can you think of a way to partially implemement the idea? Perhaps we could have villager say "Thanks matey for that stack of 64 paper, here have 3 emeralds!" Type of thing?

No. I can't. I think I've made that about as clear as possible.

regarding villagers it would be nice to see a speech bubble above there head with a short punchy line that describes what they are selling.
I agree with this. Something like "[item] for [item]". Short and simple and the quantities can be left out of it, that way you can punch the villager if the quantities of the trade seem unfair once you find out. If the speech bubble shows you, you would just walk off. I'd be too lazy to walk all the way over there to punch them.

If we had a speech bubble saying the text, but also an option for the villagers to yell out their deals aswell?
1. When Spammers spam the chat, everyone's ears (Most including Headphone users) will most likely loose their ears, plus some people rather ignore other people.
2. Mobs are annoying enough with their noises.
3. I, and I think others do to, prefer villages being the quiet type.
Sorry, but I give no support to this.

Don't mess up, or'll you'll get logic bombed. Check my profile for suggestions and mods I like! (In "About Me")
Constructive Criticism: Read all the posts on this thread. Realize that no one wants this idea as you've presented it. Think about what that means. Then either give up on this or try to get a feel for what the community actually wants. Clearly, this idea is not what they want.
Make a poll for any suggestion thread. This allows YOU to see what the community thinks, and allows us to tell you without having to post.
In addition, I must warn you against necro-ing your own threads. I believe in one of your other suggestions someone stated that you have been continually doing thus. Desist please.
Here we go...
Snow Golem Breeding (January 2012) You necro'ed this a lot.
Slime Updates (January 2012) You've necro'ed this and were minimod warned by someone just recently.
I could go on...
a good idea for the reasons stated above, but also why would it be in Swedish?
support.
It is in swedish because that is the official language of sweden and of Mojang. The mojang team shouldnt have to code and do voice acting in another langugae, then it would have a really bad accent.
Yet again, with no offense, I see another suggestion that hasn't really had much thought in it.
- Voices would lead to serious annoyance if you rely on sounds (when, I.E. being at abandonned mineshafts, use sound to detect mobs spawners or magma), so the utility wouldn't be there.
- Also, it's rather unfriendly to use only swedish, as more than 95% of the world population, let alone the gaming community, can't speak swedish.
- Another point I would like to present is that the concept of minecraft iment to keep simple and easy to enjoy. Putting in sounds like this concept will only cause unnessecary complication.

It can be turned off in the menus.
