Glass door has blast resistance of 10, which is lower than wood. It can be opened just like wooden door. Because glass is fragile, it's easily destroyed. If glass door is destroyed, it drops 2 to 4 blocks of glass. If the block underneath is destroyed, the door itself is dropped. Villagers can use glass doors. Great for modern style houses.
Recipe:
(Glass blocks, not glass panes)
Nether Brick door has blast resistance of 20, which is same as stone door. Nether Brick can be opened just the same way as wooden door. Great for matching Nether-style houses.
Recipe: 6 Nether Bricks (Can't find icons) (In 2x3 rectangle)
Stone door has blast resistance of 20, which is between wood and iron. It can be opened by right-clicking, just like wooden doors. Villagers can open these too. It takes much longer for zombies to break down stone door. (4 times the time taken to break down wooden door)
Recipe:
Gold door has blast resistance of 30. Like iron door, it can only be opened with switches. Crafted using 6 Gold Ingots.
Recipe:
Diamond door has blast resistance of 60, making it more TNT-resistant. Highly resistant to creeper blast. It behaves the same as Iron door. Crafted using 6 diamonds.
Recipe:
Obsidian door has blast resistance of 1337. It's tough to break as obsidian blocks. Still, it behaves the same as Iron Door. Crafted with 6 obsidian blocks.
Recipe:
The recipes will be the same layout as wood and iron doors. That is, 2x3 rectangle.

Changes to existing doors. -Iron Door: Blast Resistance raised from 25 to 45 for a bit more realistic.
I want to see them included in vanilla Minecraft. New door styles allow for more different styles.
Diamond Doors with a blast resistance of 60 would be impervious to explosions if my guessing is right. Also, if iron doors have a blast resistance of 25, why should gold (a material softer than iron) have a blast resistance of 30?
Other than that, this is a decent suggestion.

This is a signature. There should be something here....
Oh wait! There is!
What about making a door that is a Camoflage door?
Craft a door. Then surround a door with a material type. That would give you a false stone door, or wood, obsdian, gravel etc...
Its then up to you to place this false door next to the material it came from to make a secret and make sure its flush with the wall.
You could then have a library with a book case that opens cux it has the same texture on it. Programing wise it would just be a regular door stealing a difference texture square.
I think this is a good idea the only problem is the idea of gold and diamond doors every other I support because you could make camouflage doors with stone, obsidian would be very good against greifers or the glass as a modern style door.
So I came up with idea of 6 more doors.
-Glass
-Nether Brick
-Stone
-Gold
-Diamond
-Obsidian

I see what you did there.
The stone door is OP.
The netherbrick and glass doors have no advantage over the others (although the glass door shouldn't drop anything) and are aesthetically pleasing.
I don't support this idea because of the gold, diamond, obsidian, and stone doors, but the netherbrick and glass doors are good ideas
I Agree!
