Redstone Lamps always have the same color. I want them to have different ones.
Actually, this idea came from thinking of uses of Lapis Lazuli other than dye. Then I thought of it: Lapis Lazuli and other dyes can be smelted to lamp oil, and redstone lamps can be heated to get the oil they have.
Smelting a color dye will give you oil of that color
-Rose Red + Smelting = Red Oil
-Lapis Lazuli + Smelting = Blue Oil
Smelting a redstone lamp will get rid of its oil
-(Normal) Redstone lamp + Smelting = Glowstone Oil and Empty Redstone Lamp (empty redstone lamps, when powered will give off redstone particles which look like redstone power leaking from the lamp, making another good decoration)
-Green Redstone Lamp + Smelting = Green Oil and Empty Redstone Lamp
Blaze Powder can make light brighter (except Glowstone Oil)
Blue Oil + Blaze Powder = Blazed Blue Oil
Crafting redstone lamps with an oil gives you that color
Regular oil gives you the best light as because it is Glowstone oil. Other oil have less light (light level of 7), but are decorative. (unless combined with blaze powder [light level of 15])
Smelting Redstone Lamps that have Blazed oil, if smelted, will give only regular oil. The blaze powder is lost. Another Blaze Powder is needed to Blaze the oil again

(Btw, are you a sapling? )
Well does it have smelting dyes to create oil and HOW to color the light?
If it does, then is the process of making it similar?

REMEMBER - this is an old topic, do not attempt to bump that one!
Well then lets add the oil gathering idea to that one.
But it is a month-old topic. I warned you not to bump that one.
Bumping is against the rules.
I didnt bump that one, I just viewed it. What made you think I bumped it?
