I know. But Milk cures all positive and negative effects while I think potion of curing remove negative effect only. Plus can you make a milk bucket into an spash potion?
I don't think there's a way to cure only negative effects. From what I can tell, the game only recongizes that the player is under potion effects period and disables them when milk is consumed; I don't think it can distinguish good effects from bad ones.

One of the main part of the potion that I think people are missing is that it turns zombie villagers back into regular villagers. The only thing is that they desman so yo would have to act fast but you still can save the villagers if you have a potion on you. Also it is good if you are in a pvp fight so you can counter act your fighter. Plus milk only cures poison effects. (Also I might remove this potion from the list in an act of shorting the list and cleaning it up and editing it again but it's still an possibility)
These are all great suggestions! Very rarely are there additions/suggestions that support and supplement an existing game mechanic rather than coming up with a completely separate system.
For your missing recipes:
Climbing = string or slimeball (already used for making things sticky)
Love Potion = why make a new ingredient for one recipe? Just use wheat. Or, if you don't like that, maybe an apple or seeds.
Water Breathing = again, why a new ingredient? Take a cue from Tekkit's waterproofing, you could use cactus or cactus green. Or if you want something more aquatic, maybe ink-sac or raw fish.
I do like Water and Fire. Maybe reduction on # of fire blocks produced.
Love potion is dumb. If you want auto breeding, get a mod. Just use wheat, really not that difficult.
Double XP is triple OP. Why bother with more free XP? It's already easy enough to get in 1.3.1
Climbing Potions are especially stupid. Most servers would eliminate them if they were added, what's they point of town walls or even difficulty in scaling mountains with that kind of potion?
Extra health is dumb. Enchanted Diamond armor on SMP and SSP is already super OP, even on Hard. With extra hearts, I'll be invincible and there will be no challenge at all.
Water breathing mechanic is already in the game. It's not necessary to add an invulnerability to water.
Servers would be overwhelmed by complaints from noobs being confused. Sorry but it's true. It adds even more power to already overpowered players who can now kill people who can't even see.
Curing mechanic = milk. The zombie villagers thing is kind of dumb. Just kill the zombie and the repopulate the village yourself.
TL;DR Stop making suggestions that the game already has if you just want an easy mode. People are already OP with Prot 4's on every armor piece, Fire prot, and Sharp 5. Why bother adding more OP potions?
This would be a nice way to fight Endermen and Blazes. The ability to put out fires isn't bad either. Snow Golems would also receive damage because they currently are damaged by water blocks.
Water Breathing Potion
I believe, although I have not tested this potion effect, the effect is present in the game. If it isn't, it wouldn't be too hard to add the effect. It would be very similar to the Potion of Fire Resistance and would complement it very well.
I dislike the following suggestions:
Climbing Potion
It would be cool to climb walls like a spider but have you ever seen a spider fall . My main problem with this is that it would allow people to easily climb over walls to easily. Let them use blocks or a ladder! Would such a potion prevent a player, falling from the top of the map, from dying if he would touch a block's side near the surface before landing? I don't know. But players are smarter than spiders... for the most part.
Love Potion
A little odd in my opinion. Wheat isn't hard to produce and breeding animals does not take a long time (spam wheat, my friend).
Double XP Potion
Either it's too strong or it's useless. XP isn't hard to get anyway.
Extra Health Potion
This could potentially be a great advantage for sneak attacks... possible to great. Would the potion add visible hearts to the HUD? Are the new hearts present or do you have to wait a little bit for the health to be regenerated or generated. As the OP stated, this highly resembles the regeneration and instant health effects.
Potion of Curing
Mama said that drinking milk would make me grow taller and give me solid bones. She forgot t mention it was the antidote to everything. Milk works. Keep its usefulness. If the potion of curing existed, the only advantages that milk has are that cows have an unlimited supply of it and you can bake a cake. As for curing villagers, throw them a Potion of Weakness and feed them a Golden Apple (Nugget version). Well, that's according to the Wiki.
My views toward the remaining potion are neutral. Night Vision is available in Creative 12w32a, Invisibility seems to be planned for release in the next snapshots and several potion effect, such as Jump Boost and Haste, can be activated with the beacon block. Perhaps new items with potion effects will be added in the future, Golden Apples being the only beneficial items of their sort. If you want to test potion effects which cannot be legitimately obtained in-game, use NBTEdit or NBTExplorer to modify a mob schematic, player.dat or level.dat file. You'll also be able to change the tier and duration of the effect. Consult the Potion Effects page and the Chunk format page if you need help to accomplish this or to learn more about the existing effects.
I support the following suggestions...

Thanks for the feedback. The two potions you liked i did keep becuase they are good potions. You do have some good information and on some stuff i do have to agree with you. I did not know about curing villagers. Thanks for that heads up. (Now the potion is pretty useless so i'll probably remove it) But thanks again and im just going to try to keep this post short.

Love the suggestion, I hope it ends up in-game!
Thanks for the idea. I'll probably add string for climbing and maybe even ink sac for the water breathing. Thanks agian becuase i couldnt really come up with any ideas.
The Water And Fire Potions I Support. I Really Don't Use Potions That Often, Mainly Because I Prefer To Use More Traditional Methods To Conquering The Obstacles, However These Would Change Minecraft Itself. They Would Put In A Code For Items Hitting Something To Cause Fire Or Extinguish It. This Could Be Used By Many Modders To Improve Dozens And Dozens Of Mods! I Complete Support This, Mainly For That Special Bit Of Code That Could Make Minecraft Much Easier To Code With.
I actually made a potion thread, however, instead of re-directing everyone there, since this one came first I'll post the potions here!
Potion of Resistance (Melee, Arrows)
Potion of Explosion Resistance
Potion of Haste
Potion of Swimming
Potion of Jumping
Potion of Love (Removed from your thread)
Potion of Intangibility (Bonk! from TF2)
Poison of Fire Weakness
Poison of Explosion Weakness
Poison of Drowning
Poison of Negation (Removed from your thread)
My thread also has an Alchemist villager, someone who would sell you potions and ingredients. So, since we have similar ideas, I support!
I really do like some of these potions how ever i did want to keep the topic smaller and not have like 15 new potions that some people like and some people did not like, i wanted to pick the most liked potions. But the idea of a Alchemist is a great idea! I never thought of it before but i would be great becuase some ingridents are hard to get. Thanks for the support.
You should add a potion effect that makes it, so that when you place growable things down, they grow instantly. Would this be too OP?
So basicly a splash potion that has the same effect as bonemeal. That would be cool to have those shot from the ceiling and make all your seeds into wheat. How ever it does over lap bonemeal a bit. But thanks for the idea!
God ideas, but I don't think the alchemist should have a brewing stand. It just makes getting one too easy.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
What about splash-milk to cure potion effects from your pets? If a witch throws a negative potion at one of your wolves they're going to die from it unless you have some way to do something about it.

I did have a potion exectly like that that would remove all negative potion effects and cure zombie villagers as well but people were like "thats why we have a milk bucket!!!! this post is horrible" even if it was just that one potion so i removed it and a few other potions to help the topic. Plus it would require a coding to determain "good" from "bad" potions. But i think it would have a better use now that there are witches that use potions becuase before in singleplayer it would be pretty useless becuase no one is throwing harmful potins at you.

I like it! It would match the way many existing potions are made.
That does sound like a fairly good idea. Golden nuggets are one of the main ingridents to make potions.
