I like the idea, because the crying obsidian looks fitting to The End.
Could crying obsidian have a use? I'm fine if it doesn't.

I like the idea, but I would rather want the whole tower to be made out of crying obsidian, to make it look more decorative.
Despite that one guy who claims that I stole his idea (I checked, I made this thread first, like many months earlier), the feedback has been relatively well.
This sounds like a good idea, and would add a new decorative block to the End.
All I'm saying is, those end blocks ain't the most beautiful thing in Minecraft.

Anyway, I find this somewhat nice.
It'll be a good cariety for the obsidian.
If it was completely made of it, it would look worse than just normal obsidian, at least to me it would.
