A favorite seed saver, you can put in your favorite seed and when you gen a new world you can just use that seed, I always find my self using the seed minepenguincraft and I would like to just pick from a listed of seeds i have saved, ala the server menu
I don't want to type my name everytime i want to try a new mod!
It makes me feel self centered..
So yeah, Just a simple suggestion.
When you go to the type in a seed area, there is a little button the says pick a favorite. then you can always have that seed saved and playable on a moments notice. And on the In-game menu, when you press escape. you can save that worlds seed to the list,
The seed list is kinda like the server menu,
Question: Are you purposing that we can save the seed number without needing to type the number time and time again or are you purposing that the terrain generation code used in the creation of one world during one version of minecraft can be saved and universally used in sequential versions so you can generate similar world as you used before without installing a past version of minecraft? I support you either way you choose.

For Simplicity's sake, lets just go with the first one.
Though I did consider saving an untouched version of a world for later use, but if that's the case, you might as well just do it manually.
Er, it sounds nice, but what's the point, really? It's such a tiny function that it only saves you five seconds every time you generate a world (which doesn't happen very often, I might add).

Useful for those really long number strings us humans can occasionally fudge up.

Enter that and you'll score one hundred thousand rupees for us both, along with a spiffy card!

I loathe you, this is quite an offence, read the rules once in a while.
And sending seeds into, "storage" sounds to be a wonderful idea.
Hell, this is good enough for vanilla.
