The problem is that the redstone we put on the ground is actually dust (obviously) what could work is if they added a crafting recipe for redstone wire. and i mean real wire, not dust. Then it could be strung vertically without falling off.
crafting idea for "redstone blocks" first a block of redstone would be 9 red stone dust..then you take the block you want the redstone to pass thru in the middle..and put "red stone blocks" on 4 sides you now have a redstone ____ block..it would look likr the blick but have red dots on its sides... this block can now be places and will let redstone power pass thru.
Its a good Idea But If you know your redstone you know that you can make vertical wiring going up and down using torches. I like this idea becuase it would be more compact.
The actual wiring is a good idea but come on we know mojang and they wont add insulated wire.
You can also do a spiral-like pillar in a two by two space to allow redstone to travel upwards.
We don't need this; it would only make redstone slightly more convenient.
Honestly I like it the way it is. Because it takes skill and creativity to create complex redstone in small spaces. I don't want to make it easier for people and thus lower the value of knowing how to work with redstone.
Way overly suggested and it doesn't even have any detail.
It's a bad idea in general.
Ye a bit but could be useful for fixing things like pistons.. Building under it and put redstone under it would actually help.
But why won't mojang doesn't release it? People who use it could be useful and who doesn't want use it and want it skilled use the other way. For people who realy can't figured out will help it and mwill make it more possible.
Infinite power glitch is possible created by repeaters. To fix this you need to connect the repeater with another repeater with 1 wire, so halfway the may not have another wire going to the right. It worked for me and my friend.
I like the idea, but to be honest, I agree with the many people above me, redstone is just dust, and if you try to place dust vertically, it would just fall, so as you said, you would need some sort of pipe, or it needs to be a wire, not just dust.
