Dunno about penguins attacking stuff, they're pretty timid. Most likely if you killed one the rest would run away. also they should only appear near the shore. I like the idea of new mobs. I like the penguin idea except for the flippers, behavior, and taming.
Flippers
- I personally feel they would be unneeded if you use boats which are fast enough.
- making an attempt to flee would be impossible if you jump back onto land again. Now you can't jump or run.
Behavior
- I think that penguins should huddle together at night considering there natural behavior. They should also slide on top of ice on there bellies
- The should be non-combat if replacing chickens otherwise it is a new whole mob instead of a biome compliant version.
Taming
- Again with the new mob argument.
- Personally, the penguin seems like and innocent creature. We also now have ocelots what more could you want?
...ice monkeys? they are snow made little monkeys you can give them life with a ghast tear...they move and may freeze other mobs when they get too close to you and it freezes creeps!
