And magma cubes should drop Lava Cores IMO. Where does the blaze powder and the slime ball come from? Not a magma cube, but they do have a core like object inside them.
2. Oh yeah, but they cost 1 glass, and a little gold and nether wart, + waiting. It already takes XP to summon them I really don't wan't things like cocoa beans for pigmen and lapis for zombies, please, just the drops, I want the items for them to be innexaustble(excluding the dolls) and only from killing them, just drops and XP. I usually die when my level is about 10 so please just summoning them.
I think I'll wait till I get some more feedback before changing anything. The new mob crafting system is only an idea right now, it's not official yet.
But who cares, I'm just being picky.

I myself am I christian, and it being, yes, a little evil and corrupt, I don't think it is SO bad that it would have to be taken out. Besides, there are a lot worse things out there, say things that are MA. Proabaly no one I know (and I even go to a christian school) would really care that much.

Yeah, this is ressurecting mobs, not players, if it was players this would be incredibly corrupt but this idea is for ressurecting something already evil, and making it good. It's not ressurecting nice people to make them evil, which is what necromancy is usually thought of as.
Just tought of something, Since this will most likely be a part of the All Dem Dimensions mod (if one is ever made) cocoa been trees will likely be added, and tropical blue flower won't be a bad fit for the water dimension. This would make getting brown and blue dye easier.
As for lapis, it could be an ingredient in a diving suit or something. I always thought lapis looked kinda water-y so making a suit from it shouldn't be to far fetched I guess.
I still don't like the "crafting" mobs thing. I just want to summon them with drops.
I really don't see why mob crafting is bad, You're "creating" the mob based on it's appearance, It makes more sense than just having the drop summon it IMO.
And what if another mob ends up having the same drop? It's the same with normal crafting, if it was just a bare bones "X amount of item A and item B" we wouldn't have axes, because they require the same amount of materials that a pickaxe does. Having different ways to make something via a crafting table fixed that. I'm just trying to avoid future complications.
- Added some new commands to mobs
- Creepers can now be "defused" to prevent them from exploding on you
- Removed the ability to mount endermen, that was kinda silly.
- endermen can only carry one block at a time now, but they can pick up pretty much anything including chests!

- Gave Zombies, Zombie Pigman, and Skeletons a new command "Protect" which makes them guard chests
- Spiders now require a saddle to be mounted

- Spiders can now be turned into Cave spiders by feeding them fermented spider eyes
- Skeletons can now mount saddled spiders!
- Removed the ability to mount ghasts, If we can't mount dragons because of technical purposes, I highly doubt we can mount ghasts. Sorry :sad.gif:

Hope it draws some traffic to this thread, it desperately needs it.
It was more of a joke than an actual suggestion.
And quite frankly, I dont think it's even possible to ride a 3 block tall, bipedal humanoid. Not in minecraft at least.
The ghasts are small for space purposes, it would be wierd having a full sized ghast follow you around. Not to mention it would get stuck when trying to maneuver through trees lol.
I don't think riding ghasts is going to happen, for technical reasons(it might put pressure on servers)
I came up with a perfect counter system and a possible improvement to mob crafting if you still want to be Frankenstien and not some cool guy who summons them(Frankenstien makes them), well if Frankenstien was making monsters with their drops, they would all be zombie versions, and the zombie would be a super drunk zombie.
Counter system:
There is two slot, and your XP, just to tell you how much you can spend. Put an item in the slot, and all mobs that drop that item appear, click one to summon it. The mobs appear in bars, with the name in the wierd language, a picture, and the XP cost. They also require a necro doll in the ist slot, which is very important. Anyone who uses the table first sees a slot for the necro doll, with a lot of meaningless symbols, when the doll goes in, the GUI changes to the drop and summoning.
Better crafting:
Crafting on a 4x4 crafting table, not place them on multiple parts of a picture, just craft them on the 4x4, and when one is right, an icon appears telling you what you're crafting, and the XP cost. Click the icon to summon it.
The mob crafting makes my head hurt, the better crafting would make it hurt less...
I really don't understand what's wrong with the crafting idea, You're basically just making the mob based on how it looks, like with normal crafting.
Sure, maybe the recipes could be improved, but I haven't seen a single bit of feedback(other than yours) regarding the new system, besides the fact that the poll says some people like it and some people don't.
However, how do I improve it when no one posts their feedback?
I don't know man, I don't know. 6 people say it could be improved 1 actually posts how. The reason I don't like mob crafting is it makes it feel less Minecrafty IMO, and just too complex it makes my head hurt...
But minecraft is all about crafting, it even has "craft" in the title.
The reason I think mob crafting is a good idea is because it has a more minecraft-y feel.
Much more so than creating a whole mob from one item.
As far as I'm concerned, you dislike the complexity of it?
Is there a way we could make it simpler to "craft" mobs without sacrificing the feel of creating a mob based on it's appearance?
