Mooshroom: Instead of Raw Beef, drops Mushbeef, a Red Beef with white dots. Can be cooked for Fried Mushbeef, that haves the same texture as the Brown Mushroom Cap. Spawns in Mycellium.
Meeshroom: Haves Red Mushroom on head. If sheared, also drops a Red mushroom. Also, should have the Brown wool type. These brown wool should have the same texture as the Brown Mushroom Cap. Spawns in Mycellium.
Oinkshroom: Drops Mush-chop on death, a Porkchop that is infected by Mushroom. It looks like a Red Porkchop with white dots. Can be cooked for Fried Mush-chop, that haves the same texture as the Brown Mushroom Cap. Can be sheared for the Brown Mushroom. Spawns in Mycellium.
Quackshroom: Mushroom Chicken. Is Brown, and haves big black eyes. Also haves a brown mushroom on top of body, and can be sheared for it. Drops Quackshroom Meat, a red Chicken meat with white dots. Can be cooked for Fried Quackshroom, that haves the same texture as the Brown Mushroom Cap. Spawns in Mycellium.
Bubbleshroom: Mushroom Squid. Haves same texture as a Brown Mushroom Cap, and haves the same big black eyes. However, instead of dropping Ink Sacs, it drops Mushroom Ink Sacs. These can be applied for regular Sheeps to look like the Meeshroom. But, they won't have the big Black eyes. It can be combined with Cocoa Beans to make Mushroom Beans, which makes Sheep have the same texture as a Brown Meeshrom. Spawns in Mushroom Water, a special water around the Mushroom Biome that is identical as the standard Water.
Hostile
Zombishroom: Mushroom Zombies. They use the same texture as the Zombies, exept their Skin is Purple with white dots, aswell with a Poison Shroom in their heads. Can be sheared for that, and will become a Friendly Human. Only Spawn at Mushroom Dungeons or at Night in Mycellium. Burns in Sunlight.
Skeleshroom: Mushroom Skellies. They are Purple with White dots, like Zombishrooms. Haves a Poison Shroom in their heads. Can be sheared for that, and then they will become a normal Skeleton, but then it will be Tamed. It should be the first official Hostile Mob that can be tamed. Only Spawns at Night in Mycellium or in Mushroom Dungeons.
Spideshroom: Same as above, exept it is a spider. Spawns at Night in Mycellium.
Creepashroom: Same as above, but is a Creeper. Spawns at Night in Mycellium.
Endershroom: Same as above, but is a Endermen. Spawns at Night in Mycellium.
Silvershroom: Same as above, but is a Silverfish. Spawns at Night in Mycellium.
Neutral
Oinkshroom Zombie: Zombie version of Oinkshroom. They use Redstone Sword, which is not available anywhere. They attack in Groups when pissed. Their Red Mushrooms in their head will be converted into a burned Mushroom, which is a dead gray Mushroom. Only spawn when a Oinkshroom is hit by Thunder.
Barkshroom: Infected Wolves that are instantly tamed when sheared. When there is a Red Mushroom in their body, they will be Red with White dots. When its a Brown Mushroom, they will be brown. They attack in groups
All of these mobs when sheared will become their normal versions, and if they are in the Hostile section will be Friendly. The only mob that becomes friendly and is not in the Hostile section is the Barkshroom.
Could you use bonemeal to make giant mushroom from the new mushrooms have suggested, and if so would the giant mushroom drop mushroom when broken like the giant mushroom we have currently?
Ok maybe i went a bit crazy with all my mushroom ideas, because as various people have stated, its only one biome. oh, but thanks for using my quote as the topic description, Mr.Cowlick! Oh yeah, OpelSpeedster, I don't know if you read this topic i started or not, but I also had an idea for a redstone sword! I like how you gave it to the oinkshroom zombie as a contrast to the gold sword on Zombie pigmen, but wouldn't it be cool if you could somehow get a Redstone sword too? I guess that's for another suggestion topic though. Awesome ideas by the way.
Mooshroom: Instead of Raw Beef, drops Mushbeef, a Red Beef with white dots. Can be cooked for Fried Mushbeef, that haves the same texture as the Brown Mushroom Cap. Spawns in Mycellium.
"Mushbeef" isn't necessary. They're fine how they are.
Meeshroom: Haves Red Mushroom on head. If sheared, also drops a Red mushroom. Also, should have the Brown wool type. These brown wool should have the same texture as the Brown Mushroom Cap. Spawns in Mycellium.
Too similar to mooshrooms and sheep. We don't need that many mobs in the biome.
The same thing as sheep- we don't need a mob for everything, this isn't supposed to be a world of its own.
Once again, too similar to existing mobs and not necessary.
The same thing as the mobs before. Really, do we need a mushroom version of every mob?
Too similar. Also, mushroom dungeons? It's a no from me there as well.

No tamed skeletons or mushroom skeletons.
Ugh. If you can just say "same as above" for all of them, they're all too similar, both to regular mobs and each other.

No we don't need mushroom zombie pigmen.
Barkshroom: Infected Wolves that are instantly tamed when sheared. When there is a Red Mushroom in their body, they will be Red with White dots. When its a Brown Mushroom, they will be brown. They attack in groups
We already have wolves... We don't need mushroom wolves...
All of these mobs when sheared will become their normal versions, and if they are in the Hostile section will be Friendly. The only mob that becomes friendly and is not in the Hostile section is the Barkshroom.
There should only be two or three mobs, and only the mooshroom should be like a regular mob.
I think just the purple mushroom and the mooshroom should be a mob (yes, the purple mushroom, it would still stay in one place but shoot purple spores which poison mobs. It could be killed as well, dropping a number of poison mushrooms), although there's still room for another properly designed mob (not a mushroom version of an existing mob).
Could you use bonemeal to make giant mushroom from the new mushrooms have suggested, and if so would the giant mushroom drop mushroom when broken like the giant mushroom we have currently?
Yes, you would be able to make giant mushrooms from the new mushrooms, and yes they'd drop mushrooms.
EXAMPLE: Giant Poison Mushroom would drop poison mushrooms.

I like your idea of purple mushrooms staying in one place and shooting you. But one question, were you going for something like Plants vs. Zombies there? :wink.gif:

No, I didn't even think about plants vs zombies in relation to this until now.
Also, the purple mushrooms would be affected by gravity. If you dig under their stalk, they fall down, which could be used strategically against them.
This is kinda stupid but what if for a second mob it would be a fungus skeleton, it would be like the regual skeleton but have fungus growing all over it, it would have more health and would fire 1 poisen arrow for every 4(?) regual arrows shot it would spawn somewhat rare and only in the mushroom biome
There should be some sort of mushroom themed villages in that biome as well.
I have a hard time imagining anything that does not make the villages look like smurfs, though.
I agree, there should be some sort of mushroom themed/structure to give the biome a little more pizazz (among other things), but it would be kinda hard not to make them look like smurf villages.

I like the idea of adding more types of mushroom found only in mushroom biomes and possilbt more mushroom biome exclusive items, but remember that the biomes themselves are usually quite small and isolated. In minecraft, their role only seems to be specialized and unique biomes found in the middle of the ocean. I think the suggestion of adding hostile mobs to mushroom biomes is a bad one, because mushroom biomes are currently sanctuaries. I am one of those people who is afraid to go into caves on peaceful (laughing face icon). There should be at least one place in minecraft where one can outside without the fear of being mugged by a creeper. Maybe mushroom biomes should have hostile mobs, but there needs to be somewhere safe. I am actually content with mushroom biomes; I do want improvement with the game, but I do not hate them. I want to find one as soon as a can forge a bridge across the mighty sea.
I will not support because I do not agree with the entire article. I like more mushrooms and more mushroom biome mobs, but no hostile mobs.
This is one of the best ideas for implementation I have ever seen. Super great ideas you have (; I am very interested in this idea, and was wondering if I could make a mod based on these ideas.

Mooshrooms are enough. There are zombie pigmen, does that mean there should be zombie everything? Zombie chickens, zombie sheep, zombie squid...

Uses: Creating poison arrows, poisoning other players and mobs.
