I think that ender pearls should be used to a make device that teleports you to a recall station you've place or maybe takes you to an endermen dungeon. Testificate should give quests that reward you with experience, items (normal/exclusive), and dungeon ports. Run should be an earned skill. Add random events like a meteor impact, earthquake, some flooding from rain, or a solar eclipse that cause nether mobs to spawn. A calender. Ink pen to write on paper when placed, right click on the paper to read it(book for ground and paper for walls). Tables and chandeliers. Holding a torch emits light. Paddles for boats. Bees and beehives.
We need to be able to craft moving robots, out of iron!
Go all out, call them Golems and allow various materials.
Golem - crafted pet
-- Height: 3 blocks
-- Width: 2 blocks
-- Depth: 2 blocks
Ingredients - full set of armor, redstone and an enderpearl
Drop: Nothing, too bad. :sad.gif:
-- A crafted pet, each player is only able to have one at any given time.
-- Durability and damage is based on what material the golem is made from, same ranging as normal gear.
-- Can be made of wool, leather, wood, cobblestone, iron, gold, netherack, glass, diamond, obsidian.
-- Cannot heal or be repaired, so not as sustainable as wolves.
-- Due to it's size, it cannot pass through a regular doorway, and will thus need to teleport (as per wolf style) or have a larger oppening. Golem Stable! Saddle up, ride 'em out!
-- Strap a saddle on a golem for a massive mount that doesn't travel any faster then the player... *laughs*
RHS ------- R = Redstone ------ H = Helm ---------- S = Sword
CEP ------- C = Chest Plate --- E = Enderpearl
RBR ------- B = Boots --------- P = Pants
These would be added to the durability list as follows:
Wool, Leather(*), Glass, Gold, Wood, Cobblestone, Netherack, Leather(**) Iron, Diamond, Obsidian
* - as a sword
** - as armor
Obviously, wool would be useless as armor and as a golem, but would allow colouring the golem with dyes.
Also the glass and gold would be nearly as useless and be mainly for appearence.
From wood on up, it becomes a matter of supply... diamond golems would be durable and look good, if you like how diamond looks.
Of course, obsidian would be the best... yes, easier to make then diamond (as making enough obsidian is easier then finding enough diamonds).
It is important to note that anything made of obsidian kind of blends in to dark areas (just make an obsidian pillar and wait for night fall to see yourself)... think of the night raid possibilities...
Leather would be special circumstances... as armor, it would be better then stone (at least better then gold at any rate)... as a sword, it would be nearly as bad as wool... kind of like a short whip. *laughs*
I'd just like fish in the water, it doesnt have to kill you, it doesnt have to look pretty.
Minecraft water is completely devoid of any living organism. Its the one area of the whole game that reminds
me of "unfinished".
There should be new world in the game similar to the nether, but you make the portal out of gold blocks and light it by placing lava inside it. It should take you to a world where things are made out of different materials. Example: You can't bring tools from the regular world into this world, if you try, they should be put in an auto spawning chest outside of the portal so you can retrieve them upon reenturing the regular world. You'd have to start building tools from scratch inside the new world, with new block and material types (copper, tin, steel, etc.)
-bigger more impressive mountains, and more likely to be snow-capped
-mountains ranges, maybe even a mountain biome
-volcanic biome, with a new block called pumice(type of volcanic rock)
-structures like stacks, and stumps and arches
-more types of rock e.g granite
-ancient temple ruins
-larger caverns with stalactites and stalagmites and underground rivers
and lastly, not really a landscape idea but what the hell... bats(in caves)
With the expansion on food from 1.8, I think we need more food. Enjoy my random thoughts about the subject.
Corn: Corn Stalks grow the same as Sugar Cane, only on Dirt instead of Sand. Punching the Stalks gives you Corn Stalks but Shearing the Stalks gives you Corn. Corn can be cooked to make Grilled/Cooked Corn. Basic Corn can also be crafted into Cornmeal. Cornmeal can be crafted into Cornbread, which serves the same uses as Cake blocks.
Toast: Cooking Bread gives Toast.
Butter: Milk Buckets can be crafted into Butter. Allows the crafting of Buttered Toast and Corn-on-the-Cob.
Lettuce: Plant a Lettuce Seed, and it grows a Head of Lettuce which, when broken, drops Lettuce and Lettuce Seeds. Used in making Salads and in Sandwiches. Poor food by itself.
Tomatoes: Plant a Tomato Seed, and it grows a 1.5 block high Tomato Plant which must be sheared to give Tomatoes. Gives a high output similar to Lapis Lazuli when sheared. Breaking the Tomato Plant does nothing but destroy the plant. Crafting Tomatoes alone produces Tomato Seeds. Tomatoes are used in Salads and Sandwiches to increase its effectiveness but are poor foods on their own.
Also, make Mushroom Stew stackable already. I want my Mushrooms to be useful again.
