We can set one thing strait, Minecraft kicks some major butt. But playing on my computer is not optimal.
As of yesterday I was playing COD with my friends and chatting with them. Later I came to play Minecraft.
I thought to myself "Wouldn't it be great if I did not need to turn off my Xbox to play Minecraft? Thus the idea
that making Minecraft for consoles like Xbox and PS3 would be extremely convenient. Yes, I know that past
games have not been as easy to transfer. On the brightest side you can play Multiplayer with your friends, talk to them, and still have a good time rather you are on console or PC. (And notch gets more income :tongue.gif:)
Yes, converting would be quite difficult. But I am looking at the pros of a Minecraft console game.

Activate (Left click)- Left trigger

Jump (Space)- A, X
Item select (Scroll)- Direction arrows
--People who can play--
Parents avoiding any online buying or concerns on age group the ESRB would reassure their parents
and open Minecraft to a variety of different people. What if i did not have a computer? All my friends
are talking about their amazing structures they have created. If I had An Xbox or PS3 I could play
Minecraft and join in on the conversion!
--A way to sell--
The handy feature of Xbox's Game Marketplace and PS3's market system (whatever it may be) could
be a great way to sell Minecraft because of Its variety of games that can be bought. Large amounts of
people such as myself look through the market place to see what is new. I would be astounded if i saw Minecraft listed as one of them. There is always retail stores like Wallmart and Bestbuy to sell the game but that would require mass production of CD's to be made. ( I do not know how notch feels about that)
To sum it all up, Minecraft would benefit many people. Earn notch some more paper :tongue.gif:. And Spread the fun of Minecraft to everyone.
I would like to point out that only a troll would say NO at a suggestion and then not give any suggestions.
I love this idea and I hope that it become a reality in the near future. I'm thinking that you would be able to buy it with Microsoft points so that Notch does not have to mess with disk-related stuff. Also, you should definitely be able to play with people on the computer. I don't know if that has ever been done before, but I think that it would be really cool.

And a quick search of the already suggested topics shows that the only topic involving xbox controllers is using them with a computer. If you weren't a hypocritical person, you would have searched yourself. http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15047
Lots of loud obnoxious 12 year olds with nothing better to do than yell faggot at people who get close to them or kill them? Adding voice to the game? Cross-Platforming?
Not only is this expensive, but it is also unneeded.

I would like to point out that trollcalling, even if correct, is against the rules.
This topic has been suggested before. Many times. The reaction has been the same.
Several problems discussed:
Solution is to play fortresscraft
This requires a complete recode/redesign of the game into C# or other related language which requires time and production resources.
Without serious optimization, minecraft will not run properly on current consoles due to RAM bottlenecks.

Who knows? It's a possibility. We could all cross our fingers and hope for the best :smile.gif:

A quick look around finds FAR more than these 4 threads.
It appears that the only hypocrit here is the idiot who doesn't search.
