I don't like it. It's just more armor. We have plenty.
Plus, Minecraft isn't a medieval game. If you were stuck in the middle of nowhere, you'd need to make tools like that, or do stuff like that too. It's just what happens when you don't have electricity. Or stuff like that.
The only medieval part of this is there's no modern stuff. Heck, this might as well be the stone ages. So, shut up about medieval times.
Minecraft takes place in the mid-evil times,
If you have swords, where's the shield?
1; Medieval. Sorry to be a Grammar Nazi.
2; I may have studied it back in Grade 4, but I don't recall reading about the dead walking, Spiders growing randomly aggressive and ~1 meter tall, or exploding four-legged creatures made of (I assume, from look and creepers being the name) moss/vines. I mean, sure, I could, in theory, be wrong, but all that would be pretty important, wouldn't it?
Clearly, Minecraft doesn't take place on Earth at all, but rather in an alternate dimension where everything is Cubic, or atleast has rigid lines for all edges, and where you can carry 2304 cubic meters of dirt in your pockets, when you're only ~1.9 meters tall, and ~.8 meters wide.
