Hello everyone, Its my first time here so I guess I got to introduce myself a bit. Hello, I'm Marko. I played Minecraft for almost a year now and I fell in love with the game haha.
So I have a suggestion for the NPC - Villagers. Which will make the villagers felt a little more alive and describe them as the "The inhabitant of the Minecraft world". This is a great idea, If you love keeping villagers and villages. I`ll assure you that this will be a big hit and game changer for Minecraft. This Idea will also open a new possibilities for the Minecraft world.
So what idea I have will make you feel that this is another best time, to enjoy and play Minecraft. [For survival mode in general]. You will feel that, the faith of the Minecraft world is at your hand. And you must do something to change this will. I mean the Minecraft developers are keep making new mobs. in the future, Minecraft world will be dominated and ruled by mobs and simply putting the villagers into the verge of extinction. This will also affect you as a player. Think of this, no one in the world can prevent this Global Outbreak. What about the villagers? if we are keeping villagers and have a village, we are not sure if they are safe. they can`t fight on there own. What's awaiting the faith of this villagers is death and will ruin our trades. I know we have Iron Golem to protect them, but we can do better. It will be better if we add more capabilities to villagers, They can`t stay the same forever. The villagers should rise up! They deserve better quality of life. At this point, the Minecraft world take an opportunity of taking a step forward to civilization stages. I mean, not to much and not to the point of democracy establishment and villagers seeking independence, turns on us and kick our butt out the game lol. Lets start it little by little, not to overwhelm our developers. But over time, you'll see, that the Minecraft World will felt more like civilize. Villagers should be given more importance too. This will save the Minecraft game. That's all for my platform concept of the game.
To our Minecraft developers: I know they busy making a new mobs to go against players. But in the future, maybe they'll be able to make mobs to go against villagers. Anyway, If possible our game developer. I want the villagers to be given more of importance for the game. My idea is to give this villagers more roles/features.
This is what I have in mind:
Villagers additional feature:
I - Villagers Mortality - Maybe we should transform our villagers into mortality state; which will make them critically vulnerable to starvation.
- I know its too much. But maybe they should have a hunger bars and health feature.
Why go into trouble on making this feature?
This will affect the villagers reproduction rate. Depends on how we [Players] cope this area. With this situation already, Players can enjoy this kind of obstacles. Using our creative mind, maybe we can plan out on how to make a stable food reservation system; And to maintain our villagers to strive, and have a steadfast rate of population growth.
II - Villagers being Consumer - Now that they're vulnerable to starvation, lets make them a consumer. Lets add some feature that they can actually eat food to replenish maintain their hunger bars. And it should be a wide variation of food available to provide them, like
( bread, cooked meat & fish, pie, cake ). If you're a builder type, you'll enjoy this. I know you'll have some idea of building shops and use Chest+Hopper+Dropper+pressureplate=Drop food for them to consume every time they visit the shop. Its a good addition feature for making the villages more variant.
III - Villagers as Producer - Lets give the Villagers a feature to craft and furnace food which vary on their respective profession and careers are.
I have something in mind like;
Farmer - can use crafting table to craft bread
Fisherman - can furnace fish Now that they can basically craft simple food like bread, maybe we don't have to babysit to help them maintain a food resource every time.
This is a perfect feature for villagers to help them be more independent in terms of food.
IV - Villagers can equip and use tool - Lets give the Villagers a feature to handle tools which enhance their profession capabilities.
What I have in mind is;
1.Farmer can use possess a hoe and use it to for tilling on any nearby water; to plant the seeds they have in their inventory. Which is the wheat they crop will be used to craft bread. This cycle can be useful for them to maintain food. Also preventing their inventory to be filled with seeds.
2.Fisherman can use fishing rod to go fishing in on any nearby bed of water (during days only and no mobs nearby). And can furnace the fish they have in their inventory. Which is another way for them they can maintain food.
V - This Villagers can equip and use a weapon - So, I`ll be giving them an additional feature like having 2 main slots that will show on the layout when we click them. This 2 main slot are mainly for equipping tools and weapons purposes. first slot is being a main one and always available , the other one is only secondary which is only available to equip secondary weapon like shield and arrows to support what main weapon they possess. So basically they can only hold one tool or weapon(Sword/ arrow) for the Main slot; then seconday slot for shield when holding sword/arrows when holding a bow.
VI - This Villagers can equip armor - So, They will have this slots available when promoted as a defender and can be equip with armor.
VII - New Option and New Slot available when clicking villagers
I am working on how to upload the photo I edited on this post, but I cant figure out how haha. but anyway; When clicking the villagers, there should be a new layout on the left-side together with the normal layout. 1.You can see their experience bar - Now we can see how much experience they currently have. This experience feature would be use to fuel their willingness to breed. 2.You can see their current health and hunger bars. 3.You can see the new two slots available. With this slot, you can use it to put, take out, replace the items. mainly for tools and weapons purpose. 4.You can the villager`s whole body framed image, showing their current appearance. 5.You can see another 4 slot, mainly for equipping armoury purpose. Other than this, I didn't include the feature of opening up the Villagers inventory.
VIII - Villagers can be promoted to become the village defender - All kind of villager can be promoted to become defender. And will patrol the area to secure the village. However doing this will have them to abandon there original profession and will act differently.
-By being different, Their main task is to simply patrolling the area, having combatant ability, gain experience, and loot Items.
IX- Defender villagers can trade -Defender can trade whats in there inventory and can collect the emerald they earned from trade. And also use this emerald to buy items.
I think this is all I have in mind. Simple and basic feature to add. And not too complicated to make it work. However, with all this feature idea for villagers. I am aware that there could be a glitches and a loops. So, in order for me to support this feature, I`d also like to discuss any conditions apply below.
Villagers conditions and limit to feature
I - Villagers should not craft tool - This would lead to a lot of problem and complication.Given that they need specific items in their inventory to possibly craft tools like;
1. Hoe - (2xStick+2xPlywood/Cobblestone/Iron/Gold/Diamond) for farmers
2. Fishing Rod - (3xStick+2xStrings) for fishermans
To make it work, they should be able to have additional items they can have on their inventory. which lead to;
1.Inventory Slot being full quicker - having to possess additional items in there inventory for making tools is too much. Having this could lead to not having enough space for food items-which is consumable. by being mix with other items that can stock up if not use.
2. Farmer and fisherman having to have additional items in there inventory - The question here is how they would manage that items? How would they manage to craft tools by themselves? Given the solution that they should be able to pick up additional items for themselves to use on crafting tools, is not a perfect solution and will only lead more complicated area. -If you're thinking that maybe by dropping the items manually, for them to pick up and use it to craft tool should be fine. But you should take it in accountable. Given that you`ll have multiple villagers that have the same face with the same profession and careers, you wouldn't know which villagers you've provided the items last time.
-Also using droppers to automatically drop the items if activated is also lead to complication. Remember not all villagers can pick up specific items. what if different villagers activated the dropper? the items would just remain floating in the surface until someone can finally pick it up. You get the idea. This should be great idea if you're dividing them in a faction like villages. But once they breed, there would be a problem as they wont grow up in the same profession.
So that is my statement of why villagers should not craft tools. But please, feel free to share any ideas and opinion on this matter. Ill appreciate it.
II - Villagers are limited to other tools -
At the moment, I`ll stick to that "only a villagers which are farmer and fisherman can use tools".
Which is I can support of why its should be available to them.
I know that I have or we have the same idea of " why not make them use axe, shovel and pickaxe too?"
I can support that idea. But at the moment, I wouldn't go that far as I want to focus more in specific area. And it should stick and be related to features I can support.
So;
1.Hoe is only available for farmers to equip
2.Fishing Rod is only available for fisherman to equip However, they can also be equipped with weapons that I will discuss in another features.
III - Villagers cannot access chest and furnace Having this command on them is a trouble. They could open your chest or furnace and pick up everything available for them to pick. So yes, They not allowed to access any. Lets keep it simple
So I think this should be it for conditions. I guess we should skip the other features and conditions. more on that in the future. But this time, Ill like to discuss on how to make this available feature works for additional support on idea. What are the new Villager Mechanics?
IV - You cant trade with defender - You wont be able to trade them in this state as they have to leave their profession to become defender.
New Villager Mechanics
I - New Option and New Slot available when clicking villagers
I will explain how this new layout works. There's so many could go on with this layout and possibilities to add more feature. But ill stick to basic at the moment for which I can support.
1.Experience Bar - Do you notice when it shows a dazzling green on top of their head every time we`ve done a trade? This is the one. This is like their experience bar we could monitor. They gain this bars when we trade them or by simply being happy when they pick up foods done by us, fellow villagers or hopper. We could use this bar to add more feature on how they would benefit from it, like fuel them to be willing to breed.
2.Heatlh and Hungry Bars - This cant be seen on the outside ( like on top of there head ) but only shows on the layout when we click them. You can use shift maybe but nah..to much. This is like for them to monitor their stats. They will then tend to share food to those who experience starving than giving it to random other villagers. It could also be use for detection to activate some command like drinking healing potion. But I would go that far at the moment.
3.Two Main Slots - This is showed on the layout when we click them. It will show what tools/ weapons they currently equip. This slots can be manage by us manually by dragging an items in-out from the slots. Or they will automatically pick up the dropped items and equip it once this slot is empty. The secondary slot is darkened when instating that it isn't available.
4. Full body Framed - This is to show their current appearance on the outside. This will be updated every time when new times enter the slots. Oh by the way, in the outside we can see what they are holding in there hands/ or what armour they equipped.
5.4 slots for armoury - is only available for defender. Once the villager is promoted to being a defender it should be available for them to equip themselves or by us. This slot is also darkened, instating that it isn't available.
II - How to Equip them with tools/ weapons? Simply, click the villager. When the layout come out together with the normal one. Drag the tools/weapon to their available slot. or simply drop them in the floor and let them pick it up. Then there, they will automatically put it to there main empty slot. However, they wont pick up this tool or weapon when the main slots are occupied or isn't available.
III - Promoting the villagers to become Defender - To promote the villagers, simply replace tools and equip them with weapon and they will come to defending state which will open the armoury slot and can also be equip with armor. They will then start patrolling and securing the area.
IV - Defender combatant feature - Swordsman - will sprint and maim mobs with their shield, and attack with sword Archer - will sprint to higher ground and shoot arrows.
There's so many areas to work on this area so, I'm planning on dividing this on different post from now on.
All of this are just my summary to my idea. By dividing them, I can clearly get to explain to you all how all this features and mechanic works
Just a question other than suggestion and plan on how to make it work. You're free to share your thoughts on this one.
1.You know that, I only feature the farmers and fishersmans careers. But for other professions of villagers, What would be their special feature? and explain how it would work and support its mechanics.
2.As I mentioned about the experience bar of the villager. What idea do you have in mind to make a use of this experience bar?
They will be able to use axe or pickaxe, but they should be limited to an area(Quarry for example - 20x20 size is more than enough, or Garden - 10x10) and should be able to craft tools too, thus making villagers nondestructive to player's and their own buildings as well as the nature in general. I've seen mods do that, I am pretty sure vanilla MC can have that too.
Priest could very well enchant warriors' armor for food, alchemist can exchange his potions for food and raw materials, etc etc.
Hey,, thanks for your reply and sharing your thoughts. Honestly it took more than 3 hours to summarize what I have in mind. I just wanna put my idea in there. But more in the future, Ill be editing this post and add more details such putting some pictures to support my visualization. And rewrite this post to make it more neat, clean and easy to follow and understand.
( But seriously Im a bit suck at writing lol )
I'll be working on editing pictures, to help you visualize what I have in mind. For example: what it looks like when you open the villagers inventory.
There's so many to work on my side really. but ill be working hard on this post to help you understand what this Idea is all about. But seriously, I'm doing this for us, to have a really exciting gameplay of Minecraft in the future. But hey, who says you cant share your idea here? I'm open to any of your idea you have.
haha oh god, more features lol. I honestly trying to make everything as just basic features, so not to make it more complicated for the game ( and making it work for our developers ). Its good to have lots of features. But we should take it easy and start very slowly. Your idea is going a bit too wide from mine. What I have in mind is just to support the Villagers survivability. That's why I didn't want to add other feature such using pickaxe and axe coz its not related to preserving food and countermeasure.
For now I'm trying to establish a standing ground to support my idea. I like your additions, I honestly have similar idea like yours as well (to make them able to craft and use all tools). But for now I want to focus on "Villagers Survivabilty" Idea and make this mechanic works. If we have all the details to support this idea, then we can move on to the next feature, which is "Villagers Stability" Which has a new features. Ex: using pickaxe and axe to gather a resource and use it to repair any damaged buildings. which mechanic is to repair the building by replacing damages/ missing block but the condition is that is should be any similar block that they trying to replace. With this kind of feature. it should support why they should use axe/pick axe.
Hello everyone, Its my first time here so I guess I got to introduce myself a bit. Hello, I'm Marko. I played Minecraft for almost a year now and I fell in love with the game haha.
Why does this need to be bold? While we're stopping on this sentence, why does it need to exist? The title already explains this suggestion is about Villagers... Wouldn't it be better to start the introduction with the reason they need tweaking?
Which will make the villagers felt a little more alive and describe them as the "The inhabitant of the Minecraft world". This is a great idea, If you love keeping villagers and villages.
You've already got me worried because you have to specify that this is a great idea.
I`ll assure you that this will be a big hit and game changer for Minecraft. This Idea will also open a new possibilities for the Minecraft world.
Why did you use a " ` " instead of a " ' " for your contraction? Why is idea capitalized in the second sentence? What important information are these sentences trying to convey?
So what idea I have will make you feel that this is another best time, to enjoy and play Minecraft. [For survival mode in general]. You will feel that, the faith of the Minecraft world is at your hand. And you must do something to change this will. This will save the Minecraft game. That's all for my platform concept of the game.
This entire passage has literally no point and is wasting the reader's time. At least you could have split it into 3-to-4 line paragraphs.
To our Minecraft developers: I know they busy making a new mobs to go against players. But in the future, maybe they'll be able to make mobs to go against villagers. Anyway, If possible our game developer. I want the villagers to be given more of importance for the game. My idea is to give this villagers more roles/features.
Ok.

"Transform our villagers into mortaltiy state"... Or we could just give them a hunger bar.
II - Villagers being Consumer - Now that they're vulnerable to starvation, lets make them a consumer. Lets add some feature that they can actually eat food to replenish maintain their hunger bars. And it should be a wide variation of food available to provide them, like

Its a good addition feature for making the villages more variant.
This and the hunger bar seem like they wouldn't work well, and I think the Villagers would die out pretty quickly if only because the Villager AI is stupid. Chances are all the Farmers would die out (Like in every Village I've ever seen) and then every Villager would die from starvation.
III - Villagers as Producer - Lets give the Villagers a feature to craft and furnace food which vary on their respective profession and careers are.
I have something in mind like;
Farmer - can use crafting table to craft bread
Fisherman - can furnace fish Now that they can basically craft simple food like bread, maybe we don't have to babysit to help them maintain a food resource every time.

2.Fisherman can use fishing rod to go fishing in on any nearby bed of water (during days only and no mobs nearby). And can furnace the fish they have in their inventory. Which is another way for them they can maintain food.
What happens if their tools run out of durability? Or are they indestructible like the bows used by Skeletons?
V - This Villagers can equip and use a weapon - So, I`ll be giving them an additional feature like having 2 main slots that will show on the layout when we click them. This 2 main slot are mainly for equipping tools and weapons purposes. first slot is being a main one and always available , the other one is only secondary which is only available to equip secondary weapon like shield and arrows to support what main weapon they possess. So basically they can only hold one tool or weapon(Sword/ arrow) for the Main slot; then seconday slot for shield when holding sword/arrows when holding a bow.
Or we could just make Iron Golems smarter? Villager Guards have been suggested over and over again, and turned down over and over again. Because Iron Golems are the Villager Guards.
VI - This Villagers can equip armor - So, They will have this slots available when promoted as a defender and can be equip with armor.
I wouldn't mind Villagers equipping leather armor (gives leather armor a good use), but weapons is asking too much. Maybe they could throw snowballs if they were in the right biome, but even that is too much like Snow Golems...
Other than this, I didn't include the feature of opening up the Villagers inventory.
I think this should work in the way it works with mobs stealing your armor. If you throw down a piece of leather armor, the Villager will pick it up and wear it. Maybe if you throw down a hoe, they could pick it up and gain the ability to (slowly, compared to a real farmer villager) harvest and plant crops?
VIII - Villagers can be promoted to become the village defender - All kind of villager can be promoted to become defender. And will patrol the area to secure the village. However doing this will have them to abandon there original profession and will act differently.
-By being different, Their main task is to simply patrolling the area, having combatant ability, gain experience, and loot Items.
Again, we don't need a Villager Guard. This is what Iron Golems are for. If you want to make Iron Golems more competent, you can make a suggestion for that.
Ok
Villagers conditions and limit to feature

So that is my statement of why villagers should not craft tools. But please, feel free to share any ideas and opinion on this matter. Ill appreciate it.
Why are you stating this 50 billion (hyperbole) paragraphs later instead of putting it right next to the relevant paragraph?
II - Villagers are limited to other tools -
At the moment, I`ll stick to that "only a villagers which are farmer and fisherman can use tools".
Which is I can support of why its should be available to them.
I know that I have or we have the same idea of " why not make them use axe, shovel and pickaxe too?"
I can support that idea. But at the moment, I wouldn't go that far as I want to focus more in specific area. And it should stick and be related to features I can support.

Ok
III - Villagers cannot access chest and furnace Having this command on them is a trouble. They could open your chest or furnace and pick up everything available for them to pick. So yes, They not allowed to access any. Lets keep it simple
They already can't do this, so why are you stating this?
So I think this should be it for conditions. I guess we should skip the other features and conditions. more on that in the future. But this time, Ill like to discuss on how to make this available feature works for additional support on idea. What are the new Villager Mechanics?
IV - You cant trade with defender - You wont be able to trade them in this state as they have to leave their profession to become defender.
But you said you can earlier? Why don't you just say what you mean the first time instead of listing these changes in this weird order?
Didn't you already specify all the things in the Villager inventory? Oh wait a minute, you did! "New Option and New Slot when clicking on Villagers" explained this inventory already without an unreadable wall of text... at least one of this vertical size.
Yes, thanks, that was obvious. I think the audience already knows how inventory slots work.
III - Promoting the villagers to become Defender - To promote the villagers, simply replace tools and equip them with weapon and they will come to defending state which will open the armoury slot and can also be equip with armor. They will then start patrolling and securing the area.
Or we could just use iron golems
[YAY BLANK SPACE FOR NO REASON]
No Support.
While the suggestion is clearly the victim of translation issues, it also explains things in a way that gets confusing quickly. Lists are numbered with Roman Numerals for no reason, many things are specified multiple times or contradicted, and the most memorable problem with this essay is that the beginning includes a wall of text that seems to be intended to give the reader something to imagine, but the imagined thing does not get me excited for the material, especially since it is portrayed as an unreadable block of syllables.
The suggestion material itself looks promising, but quickly devolves into tedious micromanagement, or redundancy when other features are considered. Villager Guards have been suggested multiple times, but have been turned down for the same reason: Iron Golems were created to suit this purpose. It would be better to rewrite the Golem AI than keep Golems in the game but create a more competent Guard Villager.
(Not only that, but it makes since for the Villager Defender to have a different look and style compared to the Villager, since they serve a purpose different from trading.)
Villager Hunger doesn't sound that appealing, since the Villager AI is also very stupid. A group of Villagers tends to die out really quickly from repeated Zombie attacks.

Hey C1ff, how are you? Thank you for sharing your thoughts right there. I'm like " wow, how should I start this convo" haha
( my head is like smoking up - I feel like a creeper - I'm gonna explode in a matter of seconds lol )
First of all, I'm very sorry about my writing man. Seriously, that's just the way I write things up. And I think, I'm really happy on how I did it.
But man, this is like my first post ever in Minecraft Forum. And Its not pre-written. Everything was like on top of my head when I was writing this. So I'm really sorry, if my constructions of writing confused you.
I tried putting as much details as I could remember. Although, all of this is like a little bit of everything. But I'm sure, I`ll be on to put up more details later on.
And I didn't know that somebody has already suggested it, really. I tried looking for it but I cant seems to find it. If you could send me a link on that. Id like to read it.
Thanks for your time. And anyway, do you still want me to answer all your quotes? or you`re fine with it now?
Interesting. Mojang has been breathing life into the rather dull aspects of the game these last few years. Villagers were added in 1.3, and altered in 1.8, but beyond that they're just kinda... there. I'd love to see something along these lines implemented... but then I'd feel bad for enslaving them and holding them hostage for their trades...
I - Villagers Mortality -
Maybe we should transform our villagers into mortality state; which will make them critically vulnerable to starvation.
II - Villagers being Consumer -
Now that they're vulnerable to starvation, lets make them a consumer.
III - Villagers as Producer -
Lets give the Villagers a feature to craft and furnace food which vary on their respective profession and careers are.
I have something in mind like;
Farmer - can use crafting table to craft bread
Fisherman - can furnace fish
Now that they can basically craft simple food like bread, maybe we don't have to babysit to help them maintain a food resource every time.
This is a perfect feature for villagers to help them be more independent in terms of food.
IV - Villagers can equip and use tool -
Lets give the Villagers a feature to handle tools which enhance their profession capabilities.
What I have in mind is;
1.Farmer can use possess a hoe and use it to for tilling on any nearby water; to plant the seeds they have in their inventory.
VIII - Villagers can be promoted to become the village defender
- All kind of villager can be promoted to become defender. And will patrol the area to secure the village. However doing this will have them to abandon there original profession and will act differently.
-By being different, Their main task is to simply patrolling the area, having combatant ability, gain experience, and loot Items.
IX- Defender villagers can trade
-Defender can trade whats in there inventory and can collect the emerald they earned from trade.
I - Villagers should not craft tool -
This would lead to a lot of problem and complication.Given that they need specific items in their inventory to possibly craft tools like;
1. Hoe - (2xStick+2xPlywood/Cobblestone/Iron/Gold/Diamond) for farmers
2. Fishing Rod - (3xStick+2xStrings) for fishermans
To make it work, they should be able to have additional items they can have on their inventory. which lead to;
1.Inventory Slot being full quicker - having to possess additional items in there inventory for making tools is too much.
So;
1.Hoe is only available for farmers to equip
2.Fishing Rod is only available for fisherman to equip
However, they can also be equipped with weapons that I will discuss in another features.
III - Villagers cannot access chest and furnace
Having this command on them is a trouble.
III - Promoting the villagers to become Defender -
To promote the villagers, simply replace tools and equip them with weapon and they will come to defending state which will open the armoury slot and can also be equip with armor. They will then start patrolling and securing the area.
IV - Defender combatant feature -
Swordsman - will sprint and maim mobs with their shield, and attack with sword
Archer - will sprint to higher ground and shoot arrows.
An interesting and well thought out idea. It would really help with the growing problem of villagers being destroyed by mobs.
However, it has a few flaws, such as the weird writing style you used, making it hard to understand. Other than that, It works.
Support.
I support this, but with a few additions:
I'm okay with a suggestion intro... But you don't need to introduce yourself. We have a forum topic in off-topic for personal introductions.
Why does this need to be bold? While we're stopping on this sentence, why does it need to exist? The title already explains this suggestion is about Villagers... Wouldn't it be better to start the introduction with the reason they need tweaking?
You've already got me worried because you have to specify that this is a great idea.
Why did you use a " ` " instead of a " ' " for your contraction? Why is idea capitalized in the second sentence? What important information are these sentences trying to convey?
This entire passage has literally no point and is wasting the reader's time. At least you could have split it into 3-to-4 line paragraphs.
Ok.
"Transform our villagers into mortaltiy state"... Or we could just give them a hunger bar.
This and the hunger bar seem like they wouldn't work well, and I think the Villagers would die out pretty quickly if only because the Villager AI is stupid. Chances are all the Farmers would die out (Like in every Village I've ever seen) and then every Villager would die from starvation.
Ok.
What happens if their tools run out of durability? Or are they indestructible like the bows used by Skeletons?
Or we could just make Iron Golems smarter? Villager Guards have been suggested over and over again, and turned down over and over again. Because Iron Golems are the Villager Guards.
I wouldn't mind Villagers equipping leather armor (gives leather armor a good use), but weapons is asking too much. Maybe they could throw snowballs if they were in the right biome, but even that is too much like Snow Golems...
Again, we don't need a Villager Guard. This is what Iron Golems are for. If you want to make Iron Golems more competent, you can make a suggestion for that.
Ok
Why are you stating this 50 billion (hyperbole) paragraphs later instead of putting it right next to the relevant paragraph?
Ok
They already can't do this, so why are you stating this?
But you said you can earlier? Why don't you just say what you mean the first time instead of listing these changes in this weird order?
Didn't you already specify all the things in the Villager inventory? Oh wait a minute, you did! "New Option and New Slot when clicking on Villagers" explained this inventory already without an unreadable wall of text... at least one of this vertical size.
Yes, thanks, that was obvious. I think the audience already knows how inventory slots work.
Or we could just use iron golems
