I am planning making a rogue-like map, and with this type of game, the saves are very important.
When the player opens the map for the first time, the map will randomly generate a dungeon. When you have died, you'll have the choice between :
doing another game in the same dungeon
deleting the dungeon you played and generate a new dungeon
saving the dungeon you played for later, and starting a new game with a new dungeon
It would be weird to put all these different dungeons saves in one map, while the player can just ctrl+c / ctrl+v the map wich generates the dungeon, generate dungeons in the copy, and delete the ones he don't wanna play anymore...
But only the players can ctrl+c, ctrl+v and del , and as a map maker I want everything to be automatic ! Wouldn't it be better if a command allowed the map makers to manage the saves of their maps ?
/save rename <new title> <new subtitle> in order to change the name of the file (of course you can use "~" if there is one you don't want to change)
/save copy <name of the new save to create> in order to duplicate a save
/save load <name of the save to load> in order to load an existing save
/save delete <name of the save to delete> in order to delete an existing save
