My idea is pirates. Pirates would be a skleton with a hook instead of a bow so that means they don't have bows, they would spawn on and in ships (new generated structure in water) pirates drop hooks and paper. On the bottom of the ship there is loot there are three chests and one of them contains a pirate map. The pirate map is just a normal map with an X somewhere you go there and dig to get the treasure (the treasure would be iron, gold, diamond.) There is a map on every ship generated in the world each map takes you to different treasure spots. Pirates do 4 hearts of damage (8 damage) and the captian (who spawns with two parrots on his shoulders) does 5 hearts (10 damage) all pirates can have parrots but it is a 5% chance. The hook does 1 heart (2 damage) and grapples them in to you and has a 1.5 second cool down when you use it. pirates have 20 health (10 hearts) captians have 40 health (20 hearts). The ship spawn rate is the same as a mansion.
Ok that's it please give me feedback
I need some help with the pirate
(Fishg this would also be good with your monkey idea in my opinion)
I like the idea, however it would be nice if you elaborated a bit more on the design (What would the ship look like? What would the pirates look like? What would the treasure chest look like? Why is it worth looking for in the lategame if it's just a few measly diamonds?)
Also, what is the use for the Hook, I mean, I like collectibles but why should I collect these Hooks?

This has the potential to become a great suggestion. Oceans are extremely boring at the moment and could use a new structure. Pirates are a fantastic way add more ocean variety and a new challenge to the game. Treasure maps are a built in reward to the ships.
However, instead of taking a day or two to develop your idea, you've barely put an effort in this what so ever. I don't even know the bare minimum- mob stats, structure spawn rate, and drops. Suggestions need all this information if they want anyone to support.
But I'd like to this go above the bare minimum. Pictures of what the ship would like, what the pirate mob would look like, and what does the hook do? How would the ships generate- most structure nowadays generate as different "rooms"- if that's the case with ships, what would each room be?
It might seem like a lot of work, but once you start adding a bit more detail it becomes second nature.
Oh yea some of them spawn with parrots on their shoulder
You should probably add that to the main suggestion. You can click the edit button to edit the thread.

The idea is good, but it's a little unclear. How much health would the pirates have? How much damage would they do? What do they look like? Is there a captain? If so, is it a miniboss?
I think the whole "pirate" thing is a bit too boring and cliché. Human mobs altogether usually don't work out. I think this idea would land if the mobs had more originality toward them.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.

You (meaning ElvishKing) could make them a variant of a skeleton or a zombie, sort of like the Quark Mod, (Which has nothing to do with subatomic particles, sorry about that.) although Zombies have way too many variants. Skeletons might be a good mob to have a variant of, in this case.
Alternatively, you could do something similar to Villagers, and make them have a different anatomy altogether compared to the player. (We have Villagers, Witches and Illagers, for our Villager variants, a fourth might be excessive, but considering how rare a Witch actually is, a Pirate Villager might as well be the third variant.)

My avatar is a texture from a small block game I made in Python. It's not very good and it probably won't work if you install it.
I'm very alone in my Minecraft worlds as I don't have a very good internet connection to run a server. If you're like me, you might be interested in my Posse mod suggestion.
You should probably add that to the main suggestion. You can click the edit button to edit the thread.

Thanks i will add captains to the suggestion and i will add the damages and health
Pirates were a part of a mod, and they were part of the Hexxit pack from Technic. It made the gameplay "WAY" more cool! I loved looking for pirate ships! Made ocean exploration even more interesting! Totally agree with this idea!
Now that you've updated the thread I will edit my response. For the most part I agree with this, however there are a few things I would change.
Everyone keeps saying you should make the pirates undead. I agree that this would make them more interesting. How about Skeleton Pirates?
The pirates and captain deal too much damage. Right now a normal pirate would kill the player in just two hits. Reduce the damage rate, or give the treasure more loot to make pirate ships a late game adventure.
Hooks are just a another boring weapon that brings nothing new. Perhaps it only deals 1 heart of damage, but grapples the opponents and brings them towards you? After they are at you it would stop grappling them and have a slow cool down. This would be helpful in preventing fleeing enemies from escaping, or getting mobs that can't jump across a larger gap (ex ravine).
And yeah, if both this and monkeys were added it would be cool to see monkeys as pets of the pirates.
If you fix those three things, I'll edit this comment to say support.

You're suggestion's growing and getting a lot better! Thank you for taking everyone's feedback. Sadly not a lot of people do that.
The idea of having the pirates undead (as skeletons) is really cool. However, have you considered having them as Villager Pirates?
I also really like how you implemented the treasure map, as it sends the player on an interesting quest. Something else to consider is a new unique item that either drops from the Captain or is found in the treasure chest (besides the hook). Maybe something like the Totem of Undying, but more Pirate-themed?

Yea it was down to villager and skeleton but I think a villager pirate would look kind of weird, l can't think of anything else for the pirate

I love the idea. I would love to fight these and get a new map. The only thing is where do you find the map? In the captain's room? does the captain drop this when it dies? Next to the "wheel?" Or a completely different room/place? However if you do decide not to change it to answer this question, I would still 100% support this.
