I'm getting bored of using .jar files to create a server. I want to have a server maker, where you go to this box called "Make Your Own Server" and you click on it and you can make your own server with it. That way, you don't have to do stuff, do stuff, and so on. That's what they should add to Minecraft.
And it makes a run.bat file to run your server from your desktop.

Well minecraft is made in Java so servers are going to use the .JAR because its what minecraft is coded in.
True, but look, it can just have a plugin that makes .jar files for the servers.

but what would the plugin be coded in? Java is actually, much easier to learn than C++. it was made to make coding things easier, and is easily multiplatform. Java makes developing things a whole lot easier

a) This is why they created Realms. Easy, click and you get a server. Unfortunatley, it is the nature of servers that if you can't handle using the .jar file, chances are you aren't going to be able to handle port-forwarding and network setup, or anything else to keep the server accessible. It isn't very hard, but it does require a bit of learning.
Alternatively, there is the "Open to Lan" button, which is effectively a "click here to create a server on your computer" button. The same rigamarol is required as the standalone server if you want anyone outside of your LAN to access it, though.
c) Minecraft: Java Edition (Or PC edition, alternatively) still runs on java. A while back they simply started including the necessary java internally instead of needing it to be installed globally. So it is still running on Java, and Java is still there on your machine, it just isn't globally accessible to everything anymore.
d) Minecraft: Windows 10/PE/console/etc is programed in some kind of C, I think. And note that they haven't released server software to anyone other than a couple select partners. There might be a reason for that.
Minecraft Realms does exactly this but for money. If you don't feel like paying anything, simply get the minecraft-server.jar file and manually setup your own server. Even if there was a "Create your Server" button that makes a .bat file, like Zitchas pointed out, you will need to know a basic knowledge on networking to get a homemade server working, like port forwarding and such, which isn't really that hard. If you find it to be a hassle, then might as well use Minecraft Realms.

Well, Mojang made realms to make servers easy to run.
I mean, this must be complicated. It has settings just like in server.properties. And also, you need whitelist page, agreeeing to the EULA and others. That's why Mojang did not made it.
