The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
The whale is a large mob which looks like a fish, with large paired fins like on an early fishapod, three large rayed dorsal fins, two large rayed anal fins, gills and a large caudal fin. It can trap some other mobs in its stomach. Some whales have red eyes, white skin, and are twice as big as normal, and have triple stats. The stats are similar to guardians, but more defensive. They drop blubber, a brilliant food source which causes a lot of saturation, and fish. The white whales drop more blubber and fish, and lots of amour, weapons and boats.
This is a bit better than your other mob ideas. It's a decent idea but the attributes are kinda out there. I'm 50/50 on this.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
Going into this suggestion I had high hopes. This was not what I was expecting. You're descriptions don't sound like a whale at all- six fins, red eyes, gills*? That sounds like some fantasy creature, not a whale!
Whales swallowing other mobs is an original and cool idea, but I don't see how it could work.
On that note, what about stats and mob behavior? Where would this mob spawn? I know in oceans, but you never said that, so I could assume whales spawn in savannas. Their appearance wouldn't help either.
As for blubber, I think we already have enough food in Minecraft. Though it is the most whale related concept presented here, so I'll give it a pass. But why do albino white whales drop armor, weapons, and boats?
lagagamorp, you are a very active member of the suggestions forum, but I think you need to stop rapidly creating threads and take time with your suggestions. Think of something besides new mobs. Just use common sense before you post, and your threads will be a lot more fun to read.
*Whales are mammals, not fish. They don't have gills, they breathe by going up to the surface with their blowholes.
