The camel is a tameable mob that acts like a llama. It looks like a 1-humped camel. All passive animals will run from camels. Camels will protect themselves from sources of harm by running, or attacking if cornered. Camels are very smart, and can be given 2 chests on each side. Camel can be bred with chickens, to create a camegrif. Camegrifs have 4 chicken legs, a chicken head, a camel body, a roosterlike tail and chicken wings. Camegrifs can be used like a camel, but move faster, fall slower and all mobs will run from camegrifs.
Camels are their own are cool, it's the donkey of the desert with a unique little quirk, but the Camegrif is absurd. It would look way too ridiculous, and being able to board a Camegrif and have everything be scared of you is stupidly OP

What?? No! Howabout just make it like a donkey but you find it in the desert biome?

I want ocean content(thanks Möjang!), nether biomes(again thanks!!), and savanna passive mobs (meerkats incoming!?).
You had me, then you lost me, then you really lost me.
Why are passive animals running from camels..? A camelgrif? Dude, what? That's extremely goofy, so a huge no support. Actually, I could support just the very first part.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.
Don't think it should have storage capacity or be rideable, but having the camel act as a mobile infinite spring could be an interesting feature. It'd be OP a little, but it's not like water isn't already everywhere in Minecraft.
Let's break this down one sentence at a time, shall we?
The camel is a tameable mob that acts like a llama. Good So far...
It looks like a 1-humped camel. You probably shouldn't describe an object using the same object as an example.
All passive animals will run from camels. Er... Okay, I guess? Random, but could be useful...
Camels will protect themselves from sources of harm by running, or attacking if cornered. Sounds okay... How does the camel detect that it is in a "corner"?
Camels are very smart, and can be given 2 chests on each side. Eh... Do we need a clone of the donkey with extra features?
Camel can be bred with chickens, to create a camegrif. This sounds... Wait... What did you just say?
Camegrifs have 4 chicken legs, a chicken head, a camel body, a roosterlike tail and chicken wings. That's horrifying...
Camegrifs can be used like a camel, but move faster, fall slower and all mobs will run from camegrifs. Wait... Can I tame this thing? Or lead it anywhere? You never specified those parts!
No Support.
Can I just ask what thought process lead up to this post? And get an answer please?

My avatar is a texture from a small block game I made in Python. It's not very good and it probably won't work if you install it.
I'm very alone in my Minecraft worlds as I don't have a very good internet connection to run a server. If you're like me, you might be interested in my Posse mod suggestion.

I am sure other people have already said this, but this camegrif idea sounds too weird and strange to me. Who in their right mind would want to breed a camel and a chicken together anyway? Also you didn't really give much info on how camels can be tamed or anything like that. In the past I suggested adding camels, but my idea was too similar to llamas as yours was.

The camel thing sounded reasonable at first, but then....the camegrif? What even?
Check out my suggestions! Here is one of them:

Could not have put it better, the camegrif just wouldn't make any sense and have no idea how it would be useful or in the Minecraft style at all.
