Yeah, Optifine is somewhat on it, so in the future we should have this, would also be good if MC supported it by default.
Not that much of a fan of mods as they have the tendency to be versions behind/aren't something everyone wants to use and often get abandoned.

THAT IS IMPORTANT!!!!
I want to add Marketplace System to Java Edition, because I want to take JE to compatible a cross-platform between Java-Pocket-Console after 1.2 'Better Together Update'
Because I've heard about 1.2 of Pocket Edition that compatible a cross-platform between Pocket-Console and use the Bedrock Engine, so I want to take JE to compatible with it and use the Bedrock Engine too.
Okay... and WE KEEP WANTING have MODS, and FREE skins and texturepacks.
With the marketplace both things are impossible.
I do not want to sacrifice all this just so that the servers have more bugs and scrab single-player gameplay.
This is what we have been saying for three days.

If the point is to add crossed-platforms, it not must be at the expense of remove mods and free features from the game.
In this case, all the others editions must be adapted to be compatible with JE, and not vice versa.
Alright, but in fact, I want to keep every free content to still free for JE. I don't want to change them to purchasable.

Which is exactly why we don't need it, thought it's quite easy to understand, if we get a few more features we can basically have the content that the Bedrock Edition has, adding it by ourself so to say, while still having the "freedom" of adding and doing stuff ourself instead of having the limited "purchaseable vanity" that the bedrock edition only has.
Don't know what Mojang will think about this, but I don't think they'll mind it as much as Microsoft will, and Mashup Packs are already being ported(sadly not updated from what it looks like?)
We don't have custom entity and player model support as of now but I'm sure that will come later, which is what I mostly meant
Changes to Improve Furnace Minecarts!
(more of a Bugfix than anything, also Minecart Update!)
Improved Armor Textures, 1.8 Skins, Player Skins, Transpaceny and more!

Do you understand for now?
