The bugge is a 2m tall hostile mob. It looks like a half-transparent, green, six-legged, sprawling, fat thing, with a long dragging tail, a small lizard head, and 4 large elytra-like wings. It has 10 amour points, and 25 health points. Its attack knocks the player back 5m, and deals 1 heart of damage. Its speed means if you start 5m away from it, it would get you after you go 20m. It will walk after you, and can walk on fluids. If it goes into fire or on to lava of magma blocks, it will jump 3m high, and start flying, and land when it gets on to other block. It will also start flying if it cannot get to you by walking, and will land when it can. It flies at 1/4 of its walking speed. It cannot cross over running water, but it can cross under it. If you are fully submerged in fluid, in fire, on magma blocks, or on the other side of a line of running water that does not have a visible end to the bugge, it will become passive until it sees a player with none of those conditions. If it is standing on water, and the water starts to flow, it is launched in the direction that the line between the centre of the body and the centre of the water points, or a random direction if the 2 points are at the same place. It drops bug scales, which are used to make mirror portals. They are shiny black, quarter blocks that goes on walls. The back and side are gold on the in one and silver on the out one. If you put redstone between the two portals, they are linked. If multiple out portals are connected, using them will kill you. Otherwise, it will teleport you.
This mob sounds terrible. It's tankier than an Elder Guardian, also being able to knock you back as much, if not further, as a Knockback 2 sword. You're missing the drops and recipes, and bug scales shouldn't even be able to teleport. Why is it that small if it's a boss? The portals won't help at all. It would be easier to just make a staircase or other path than to use these. Also, is it possible to break these portals in case you misplace them?
Yeah I stopped there. I don't want anything that's hostile and has 300 health.

Yeah, that guy in the avatar is me. I'm *that* strange. It happens. Sometimes people act like that. Just go with it. I can offer help with suggestions even before you post them - NOT make your suggestions - but help you with them.

Basically, what is their purpose?
I edited it a bit to make it more balanced, the portals are breakable and once you set up the portal, you can easily get around quickly forever, without inputing resources.

Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.

If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
