Why are one way mirrors in the pool of the dead? D:
If you use your secret door, you want to be able to spy on people trying to sneak in!
There is no significant reason for you to spy on people. Minecraft is not about spying and isnt important. Besides, if you use your want to check if someone sneaked in, just turn around :tongue.gif:
I really, really like the igniter trap and the secret door. The trap chest provides options for all sorts of shenanigans too.
I'm meh about the twigs, and I'm sure I don't need to say that floodgates are already a heavily supported suggestion. (Not that I mind them being in here)

They'd still make for some really cool looking rooms and halls, though.

And then i just started swearing because it was allowed, Then I said to the moderator: "Your a bad mod". Then i got jail permanent...
I'd jail you too for using a possessive in place of a contraction.
I love the idea of a trap chest that will turn on redstone when you open it. Maybe it could be made with a wooden pressure plate as the redstone and eight wooden planks is taken. My favorite is making a door that looks like a book case. The igniter block is another fun toy.
This can make a landmine that looks like a normal stone block which makes a *tic* BOOM when it is stepped on. Should have something on top so that those with perspective eyes can detect it.
Yes I know about the Pressure Plate + TnT but that is rather obvious and you can't remove it once placed.
Added Trapdoors and a small comment on how they should work. The girder is now in danger of deadpool due to the fact that the trapdoor does the same thing if not in a more efficient way. Why? All of Minecraft´s blocks and items must have a unique purpose and be able to work differently then others. This is the only way to attain good substance in a sandbox game like itself...
I thin it's a shame you removed one way mirrors. I would replace the outside of my enemies house with them, so when they went outside they would panic. Also useful for panic rooms, especially combined with different doorways.
my idea for trapdoors:
they could be crafted out of , , and like so:
[] []
[] [] []
= , , or
ones can only be triggered with redstone, while and ones can be activated by hand, like a door. all kinds are affected by redstone. is only openable by hand, and can not only be opened but it also opens when something is over it. examples:
[] [] []
or:
[]
^ the cobble would be wooden planks that look like the trapdoor
1) Could you make trapdoors out of other materials like wood and etc, but wood would be able to be opened by hands
2) SpiderWeb traps
First Of All you would need a Spider Web
[]
[] []
[]
or something similar
Now spiderwebs would be a block, it would be flamable and able to be see trough, it would also be slim (if possible 1/4 of a block)
when activated by redstone, spiderwebs would be affected by gravity
If a spiderweb falls onto a player, it would trap them for X seconds
Maybe Spider Webs could be used as ladders that slow you down if used on vertical
Or maybe whole blocks (like cobblestone and what ever) that when touched by redstone, could be effected by gravity, it would add a whole new, castle to ruins system and maybe those blocks look exactly the same, except that they look a bit different from one side or something
(good combination when used with lava trap doors and stuff)

These guys make awesome art for Mods (Items, New Blocks and Mobs)
I will be using them soon
I'm Starting to be known as a Balancer, A.K.A. I'm starting to become pessimist
Basically, a mobile arrow trap. You'd place them on rails, just like any other minecart, but any time it passes over a track connected to an active redstone output, it fires whatever you put into the dispenser. How you'd get them mobile, though, is up to the trap-builder.
The minecart comes in two varieties: Left-mounted and right-mounted. Which one you choose determines which way the dispenser faces, thus giving you greater control over the orientation of the dispenser's firing direction.
These would also be good for making turrets, if one were so inclined.

Are you always so pessimistic?
Yes, yes I am. A pessimist is always either right, or pleasantly surprised.

Egads..this is World of Warcraft meets Battlefield 1942 in a dark alley with way too much to drink and no discarded mattress nearby.
Feel free to pick and choose any ideas in there you feel are worth doing. I think a very happy merger of these two concepts can be done easily.

MineCarts Mk. II
Golden Fleece
Wall Clocks
Fireworks

Very hard to see and traps them in a 2 deep hole.
Also, I like everything except the twigs, doesn't seem intuitive to me...
For the rest :smile.gif:

Meh. Personally I'd prefer if it was just *step* BOOM! on pressure plates, rather than having to immobilise the player.
I will be using them soon
