New Villagers
Guards/warriors: To protect villagers at night, and when relations become bad with a player he may attack. They wear leather armor and have a bow or stone sword. every 4 villagers one guard. no trading (location see new structures)
Fisherman: (exists but now has new function) Fishes, and would trade things related to fishing. (rods, fish, a boat) (location, see new structures)
Groom: (butcher subtype) Lives in the stable and watches over the horses can be traded for (hay, apple, horse armors, and possible a horse egg?)(Stable see in new structures)
Mayor: wears a gold hat, lives in the large stone building, spawns if a village population exceeds 7
Brewer: Trade him the ingredients for a potion and a emerald and he will make it. Lives with the librarian(explained more in trading)
New cosmetics: Wether it be by way of genetics, or random

Increased spawn chances: a 25% chance to spawn in a regular sized plain or desert, 75% in a super large (the world settings) biome
FishPonds spawn along with fisherman (see New Villagers) is a small pond that he fishes in. will not spawn if within 25 blocks of water, -fisherman will still spawn
Pens: Occasionally spawn with chickens sheep etc not horses or donkeys or bunnies.
Piles of unused wood wheat and stone: 2 or 3 different piles spawn with the builder (see villagers)
Stable: Has 2-3 horses or donkeys, may spawn with chest in it that has wheat and apples, wheat and the groom who will take care of the horses (see villagers)
Barracks: Location of guards and warriors (see new villagers) in the morning simple structure that is a stone wall and some tents. Spawns after there are 4 warriors/guards
MarketPlace: villagers occasionally visit this during the day, easier to find trades, and a Guard (see new villagers) will always stay here if it spawns, Spawns occasionally when their are more than 10 villagers
Walls: Log walls spawn randomly around villages with more than 10 houses

Market place: Villagers with a market place have a 25% better chance of making better deals (better and worse deals already implemented.) Also helps find villagers.
Brewer: for example trade him: bottled water and sugar and 1 emerald to get a swiftness potion-- Potions-pre nether.
also will have new trades everyday:
10-15 gunpowder-- 1 emerald 15%
32-48 sugar cane-- 1 emerald 10%
32-48 redstone-- 1 emerald 25% chance
10-15 emerald- brewing stand 5% chance
5-10 emerald-- nether wart 5%
15-20 emerald 32 soul sand 5%
ingredients (bottle water, ingredient)-- 35%

Villager builders are one of the least popular ideas ever on here, because of how easily they can be abused. Fighting villagers are senseless because... Iron Golem. A good chunk of those villagers are ones that act like players and alter the terrain just because.
I can't say too much about the new structures, those are somewhat plausible. The "randoms" section has barely anything in it and doesn't even need to be there... Read the suggestion guide please?

And now several tips to this part:
1. Please inform about recent updates: Why? Fisherman does exist, is a subtype of farmer.
Also some villagers of the idea need a update (for example the groom should be a subtype of butcher).
2. Search if there is ideas similar to your idea, simply guardians and warriors had been suggested hundreds of times, builders and villager genetics are a recent suggestion.
3. Avoid add extremely complex mechanism suggestions (like the tree detection and house reparation), and in case of suggest a thing like this, try explain detailed how it would works.
4. Be more detailed about trading.
I recommend reading the rules of the forum.

But, what is the reason of create a list about villager suggestions? Is a complaint about the absence of the villager tag in the title thread?
In this case would have more sense.
Althrought I think that you should add links to the suggestions, in other mode the list have less utility.
And about the villager ideas, these are my ideas about villagers, you can add to the list if you want:
- Brewer (potion-related work).
- Clocker (redstone-related work).
- Artesan (dye, decorative blocks-related work), with several subtypes: glasser, drawer, stonecutter, carpenter, etc.
Other related:
- Improvement of reputation villager system.

Every village shouldn't have golems, because the you would always be safe in a village. Also Warriors, are Golems, so then why would we need them in all villages. But I do believe having villagers designated for a house would change a whole villager in all. I do like Angeltxilon's idea of Brewer, Clocker, and Artesan, I also like fishermen actually fishing xD.
All in all I give you 40% of support.

Villagers digging themselves in lava pits or mining away resources that players should be taking is not "okay". They also don't "need" to be more lively. You're basically just labeling your own wants as needs. Villagers don't need to act like players to be considered better mobs. These are ideas that are interesting on paper, but bad in the long run.
Villagers "being livelier" can turn into players making them into unintentional slaves, which is already possible.
Also warriors/guards can be removed but iron golems can't do everything. and the spoilers were so that, I could continue compressing the villager ideas into on large post, it takes time bud.
The entire purpose of the Iron Golem is to fight mobs off. Why put all that programming into a new mob and then come back to normal villagers and go "okay, these guys get to fight now". That's just redundant and lazy. It'd be better to buff the Iron Golem than to fart out fighting villagers.

Are you calling my criticism "bad" simply because you don't like it? You should have done some serious searching before you made this suggestion. As for the bolded part, you're talking about this like Mojang is gonna walk by and just scoop up your suggestion and add it to the game. They almost never come to this forum, so it's us you're gonna be dealing with, not the devs.
Never, ever, ever leave stuff out in an idea just so "the devs" can fill it in for you. You are punching your own thread in the face if you do that. Like I've been saying, please read the suggestion guide. Because you're doing a lot of classic "don't do's" in a thread. I'm not telling you this stuff to mess with you, but because it's true.
If it's positives you want, it's good you're taking out the fighting villagers and pretty much all of the structures are good. So uhh... yeah.

Mojang doesn't look here, they have their own Subreddit for accpeting suggestions. This forum is completely community-based, and ideas are shared here to discuss them. Not to get them into Vanilla.
unless of course, you bring it here first to get support, then put it on the subreddit, or sent in pictures of cats every day. (one suggestion, colored glass did this, but you need support for the to work, and a vague, stolen content thread isn't going to get that, sorry)

like many users of the minecraft forums i'm a member of the server total war (IP:167.114.100.168:438) the server includes a 1:1500 scale map of earth.
those of you wondering why i don't have an active RP (so far none). i try. but whenever i get to the rules section of it my computer restarts. computer: i realise what your telling me and i give up.
Sorry to say, we don't normally allow postings of "megathreads" (posting a bunch of other people's ideas without their permission in one thread). If you want to make a megathread, it is asked that include links to the other threads that originally came up with the idea, so that people can go to those threads and support the individual ideas. I'm going to lock this for now, but if you want to remake it with the links to the threads that originally suggested these ideas it should be okay.
