I know this used to be in minecraft but I want them back. My idea is quite a lot different from the original. Firstly, they look different. I created 3 different ideas of what they look like. (Yes I know the editing was bad. Secondly, if they find ur house they will put up a sign that says: SOLD TO MR. HUMAN (or something like that.) They can fight with the same tools/weapons as the player. It's the same with armour. They have about 5 more health than the player. If they die they drop basic tools (wood, stone). They will attack you if you attack them or destroy blocks near them (about 2-4 blocks around them) . They'll have a couple of textures. The ones I've made are just an idea.
But can you imagine what it would be like if they were never removed, how many videos of them we would be seeing of them today? The slashsummon command would turn them into a running gag and everybody would have at least one in one of their creative worlds!
I don't think Mojang likes them though.

So I was working on this really cool resource pack a while ago, but bad progress nonwithstanding, I think I found something much better... I'm probably gonna never release another custom Minecraft map.Until we meet again...
Well, I forgot to mention they would react differently to villagers because they are passive. Also you can't spawn them by pressing G. They drop basic tools - stone and wood. They wouldn't have names so they wouldn't be confusing on servers.
MOJANG! HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE THEM!!! Also, Would they be better if they're scary?
there's a reason they removed the human mob piece by piece (aka -removed herobrine)
Please understand that Herobrine was never, ever, ever in the game. Mojang just slips those in the changelogs in a vain attempt to be funny trolls.
Adding human mobs spoils the almost alone feeling in the game that worked perfectly for so long. No good reason to water the game down with more generic humans wearing eye patches and camo.
I think it'b cool if there was another Human Mob in the world that has the exact same goal as you. Or Hell is a carbon copy of you, which once it finds you, its mission would be to end you.
That'b awesome on Hardcore mode. That sudden feeling once you two make eye contact.
I suppose you're right. But they could be optional! I mean when I play survival I love that alone feeling. But when I play creative, I want to feel like I'm in a world with a human-like NPC other than non feeling idiot of the villager.
BTW there's no camo. I hate camo.
Thanks. That is why I want Humans in the game. Also now I know another contraction! That'b!
If the human did 'buy' it then you could always simply, destroy the sign and kill the human! Although you have a point the human recognising the house. I'm not sure how they'd do it.

- removed herobrine was like a code name to removing the human mob, i know herobrine isn't real. when 1.8 is released it will say removed herobrine one last time because they are refrerring the last piece of the human mob.
I personally don't like the idea, so no support here. If you'd like to get more support though, you should include a lot more along the lines of behavior and actions. Overall, humans to me seem like too much of an advancement from the normal Minecraft. If humans were added, I have a feeling it might end up spurring into more and more things that Minecraft doesn't need. We need more updates that add to survival, not just pretty things to decorate with in creative.
Still very vague and looks like doesn't fit to minecraft itself, I mean, why you need an NPC mob that can think what you're doing and having his mind itself?,no just no
They could grief your own house, or even make lags. An SPIKE Lags!

Or even much more bad...
Um...Dude, are all your 850 posts like this? What lag? Besides a big amount of them in one spot, which could be fixed easily by adding a button in the "Create New World" menu, well, more like a slider bar that limits the amount that spawn or something like that.
This idea is very vague, to the point that it is redundant to other "human" mob suggestions. I'll give you a few hours to edit the OP to make it more unique and descriptive, but if you keep it how it is when I come back I will have no choice but to lock this.

It would be a whole lot of help if you told me why exactly it is vague.
Certainly. Right now the entire idea consists of:
There should be human mobs again
They shouldn't all look like Steve
They will put a sign by your house if they see it
What about
How much health they have (Same as player?)
Can they wear armor? If so, will they randomly spawn with it or do they only pick it up if you drop it near them?
How much damage do they do?
Can they pick up weapons or tools?
Do they drop anything if they die?
What do they do besides put a sign near your house?
Where do they get their textures from? Are there just 10 or so skins in the texture folder or does it pull skins from the Minecraft skin server?
Can they fight?
The list goes on and on of things that could be added. Typically people don't want a mob that only does one thing. A lot of people dislike bats for this reason.
