I really think it would be cool to have a nice multiplayer game and out of nowhere a meteor comes crashing down on the ground right next to your diamond pool, also in creative mode you can spawn meteors. The damage would be based on how high of a difficulty setting the game is on, also with frequency of spawn, with the addition of being able to turn off the meteors in settings menu of the game before spawning in the world. The damage would be based off difficulty with blast radius and the minimal radius would be about ten spaces with ma being fifty. A warning in the arrival of a meteor could be triggered by possibly a flash in the sky or a sonic boom. The material of which they are made of could vary from Iron to Clay to Quartz or Netherrack or maybe even a form of ice. Maybe new hardened materials can be crafted from the remains of the meteorite and be made into blocks or armor. A Frezerite (Frozen Meteorite) could make a new material and be crafted into armor, or Flammerite (Flaming Meteorite) could become armor. The meteor armor should also have new enchantments on them as well. This could quite possibly improve the magnitude of the already great game, Minecraft, and evolve the way we look at survival modes and the protection we put on our crafted structures and homes.

First of all, never say "Please add...". I makes it look like they're just going to add something because you ask for it.
Also, this is vague and redundant. Please add detail so we can have a conversation about it, and also, please make sure what you wanted hasn't been suggested before.
see thats the thing, size, material, destruction and frequency of these space rocks could make the game more suspenseful, you could just turn off meteor in the options menu, and i think it should be up to 4J and Mojang what happens with the elements of these unknown killer master pieces...

you just told me please add was bad then you use it yourself

Please add as in critism implies to the poster. When the poster uses it however it seems as if he or she is telling mojang directly to add it rather than a proposal for the community to debate wether or not it should be suggested to mojang to implement.
Sorry but vauge and sounds sort of similar to the meteorite mod
well for console edition its not particularly copying, plus instead of having to download a bunch of crap for the mods you can do just get legit meteors, now this topic is probably going to get locked because we talked about mods

It's totally different. I'm saying, when you put it in a suggestion, it looks like they'll just add whatever you want. When I said it, I was pretty much just saying "add detail or this will get locked" in a nice way.
So, add detail or this will get locked.

Wait, you want this for console? Wrong section.
Also, if you think that this will get locked because we talked about mods, you have much to learn.
They don't lock it for talking about mods. They lock it, if all you do is completely copy off a mod, give no detail, and literally say
"Here's a link to the mod. It's my suggestion".
for all of you who are concerned about your diamond statue being blasted to smitherines, he did say it was an option
Have you been to the suggestion guide lately? Making something optional doesn't act as some magical fairy dust that makes a bad idea suddenly better. If the suggestion is balanced enough, it doesn't need to be optional anyway.

yeah its my first topic, i clearly have a lot to learn
don't feel bad. I don't know of any first topic that did well.
Uhhhh, there's actually quite a lot of them. And some of the posters of those topics either did the smart thing and searched and thought their idea through, or they just got very lucky on the first try.
How often do they spawn?
How much destruction do they cause?
How big are they?
This post is very vague and I still don't support it looking at the few details you listed, sorry.

This has already been suggested here. I don't think meteorites are fit for the game, but it would be nice if you could summon them.
No Support!, Add more detail
And please don't copy Meteor Mod

OT: this seems kinda useless, sorry. Although it could be a fun thing to play around with in creative mode...
