Ice Spikes aren't supposed to occur near Mesa Bryce, but this is awesome!
It's almost too nice to mine it all out! Fortunately this is a fairly large area of Ice Spikes, so you could leave a few near the Bryce.
It is a long way to the nearest Plains village at 804, 71, 1812.
Most of the villages on the Amidst map don't exist.
The witch hut to the south-west of spawn is surrounded by swamp, just a few hills in the background. Quite a few caves beneath, but not impossible to light up. There is a skeleton spawner below the hut, so you can set up an afk farm to collect bones, arrows, redstone, glowstone, gunpowder etc.
Dual blaze spawners, for as much XP and furnace fuel as you can use! This fortress has nether wart too.

It has taken me a week to find this seed, but I think my search is finally over. I can't think of any significant improvements to this seed, apart from perhaps a multiple witch hut configuration, or having a Stronghold in the spawn chunks... now that would be an ULTRA-RARE seed! (I found one seed with all biomes and the stronghold about 4 blocks too far away from spawn, so it is possible!)
This doesn't seem to be giving me this seed on 1.7.2
If you think you entered "35267400" as the seed in 1.7.2 and didn't get the world shown, enter the command /seed and see what seed was used to create your world.
If it comes back as "-1082321475" then what you entered was "35267400 " (with an invisible space after the number).
If it comes back as "1219180957" then what you entered was " 35267400" (with an invisible space before the number).
The invisible space character shoots a lot of people that copy seeds from these topics in the foot.

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
If you go to the cave at X/Z:-1060,489 and turn left at the intersection, there's a chasm that goes all the way down to Y=18. (If you see a water spring before the path splits, you're in the wrong cave.)
I'm a newbie (got Minecraft just after Christmas). I've done a bit of groundwork (learning how to mine effectively, build auto-farms etc.), but was finding the world a bit disappointing - desert, prairie, desert, prairie, desert, prairie, desert, prairie, yippee forest, desert, prairie, desert, prairie, desert, prairie - you get the idea.
I thought seed meant, well, like wheat lol until I stumbled across something on the forums and learned what seed actually meant.
Anyway, the upshot was I started a new Survival World using your seed - and I'm thrilled.
I can't stop wandering around and just gawping at all the stuff I didn't even know existed.
So I just wanted to say thank you KeepOnDigging - it looks like I'll be doing just that for a very long time on 35267400, or as I'm going to rename it - Utopia.
