I was just thinking that the seed community needs a seed that everyone is encouraged to use and add too. We need this because we could have a sense of a community while playing singleplayer. Hopefully, we will get to the point where we have many structures listed and their loot listed too. If we want an awesome view, we can look on here and get new views hopefully everytime. The seed will be pollinating sandboxes on default generation. I hope we will have very much information about this seed. Thanks to BigAlanM for straightening out the concept of the seed "0" for me.
If you are talking about the digit 0 (zero) that is the command for the Minecraft to generate a random 64 bit signed integer and use that number as the seed for the generated world.
Every time you enter zero as a seed or leave the seed input box empty you will get a different random seeded world.
See my post #410 in this topic.
MC's random seed generator, as far as I can tell, will produce a random 64 bit signed integer seed generated (probably) through some calculation involving the user's computer clock. This will occur whenever the seed input window is left blank or a 0 (zero) is entered.
The range of these seeds is -9,223,372,036,854,775,808 through 9,223,372,036,854,775,807.
This same range without the commas (-9223372036854775808 through 9223372036854775807) is the acceptable input range for numeric seeds in the MC seed input window. Seeds within this range can be entered manually in the seed input box.
This would imply that it is impossible to get a world generated with a seed of 0 (zero),
Actually this isn't the case.
If you enter any of the following text strings (without the quotes) hashcode() will furnish the MineCraft world generator a seed of zero bypassing the random world command:
"pollinating sandboxes"
"amusement & hemophilias"
"schoolworks = perversive"
"electrolysissweeteners.net"
"constitutionalunstableness.net"
"grinnerslaphappier.org"

Darn, that means that the Beta 1.7 seed I posted didn't have 0 as a seed, but rather 4380743151361890813.

What B.A.M. is saying is that if you type the number zero (0) as a seed when generating a new world, you will not get the world based on the actual seed zero, but a random seed. But, if you type in any of those phrases, you will get the actual seed zero, where you spawn on a plains biome with a small extreme hills just to the south, a large ocean to the east, plains to the north and roofed forest to the west.
Across the bay to the north is a large mesa biome that includes mesa plateau F & M and a mesa bryce biome further north and west a bit.
Heading due west from spawn, across several extreme hills, forest and taiga biomes, you will come to another ocean with a mushroom island just off shore, and another mushroom island that is actually a peninsula to the south along the coast.
Across the ocean to the east, and a little bit north, there are some mega taiga biomes including a mega spruce taiga hills.
Villages are pretty sparse around spawn, but in the deserts to the south, there are quite a few possibilities.

Here's the AMIDST map of the world that MineCraft v. 1.7.2 produces if you enter one of the text strings I listed before to get a seed of 0.
The house near 0,0 is the spawn point.
And, to the same scale, here is the map that MineCraft v 1.6.4 produces
