Yesterday I spawned in a world that was very unique; a vast system of swamps, deserts and snowy biomes all occuring in one area. I have the world saved. Today I created a new world and spawned in the EXACT same seed. Considering there are tons of seeds, is this a common thing to happen? I doubt it.
BTW, sorry if this post seems awkward or misplaced, I'm new here as you can surely see. =P
It can happen but its rare. I once made a world on creative and a week later I made one for survival and it was the same seed but in a different spawn point.

Thanks. It seemed kind of odd so I had to sign up and ask.

My question does not require any images, it is a matter of yes or no. I know what I'm doing.
