I put my name as a seed and put large biomes on, and got a decent seed actually. http://imgur.com/a/BxL79

I'd like to point out that there is a plains biome right next to the extreme hills biome, a very big plains biome.
Also, there are a lot of ravines there, I didn't really count but when I explored I found at least 10 ravines just circling around the spawn area.
My username (aleksa77) spawned me in a forest with some wolves, right next to the most incredible Extreme hills biome I've ever seen. Next to spawn, there's some pretty flat areas on top for building, some small floating chunks, lots of overhangs, some waterfalls and lakes, and tons of coal. Across a large, hilly valley, there are more extreme hills with some pumpkins and an amazing lake area. I think this is a pretty fantastic seed
I tried out my seed. You start off on an island riddled with a huge forest, which is nothing special. However in the distance, behind you from spawn, there's one other island that never ends. Despite first appearances, that huge island turns out to be neverending snow biomes. Even the sandy deserts are covered in snow. It's quite interesting, if you ask me. I flew for five minutes in creative, but still did not find an end to either the island or the snow. In short, the main (spawn) island is cool, but the big island is just infinite snow.
EDIT: I stand corrected. After 10 minutes of flying straight, the snowy apocalypse ended and there was just one small island, with a huge dropping cave that has nothing special. The island had no snow, but past it was just ocean, and one other island that had a jungle and a 'stone' biome. The jungle biome was pretty large however, and contained multiple temples/ruins/castles/whatever they're called. It also broke the chain of infinite snow, and had swamps, fields, you name it.
My username (Etellex) is the best seed I have seen in my entire Minecraft life. When you spawn, there is a mineshaft directly below you, and in that mineshaft there is emerald. No joke.

worths checking out
Minecraft 1.5.1, here we go!
A Mountaineous Plains with tons of caves! Not a bad seed at all..
Turned around, Oh my goodness. I wish there are more of this.
A giant drop to nowhere, well, atleast there are tons of caves in its Sides.
You spawn in a laggy Jungle.

WHY DOES IT SAY MINECRAFT 2.0 ?!?!?!?!?
HOW DO YOU HAVE TINTED GLASS, COAL BLOCKS, TNT SLABS, AND A BURNED OUT TORCH?!?!?!?!?!?
I am a very intelligent robot from the future made of snow. I have a PhD in my fields of study. What I have done here to get those items is magic.
