I just checked all the location except for the miscellaneous ones in Snapshot 12w26a everything is pretty much the exact same except for one thing
The lake you dig in to get down to the stronghold, is gone. The stronghold is still there though. That was the only different thing I found.
Thanks for the info - seems like it hasn't changed since 12w21b - the lake was missing in that version
I've not gone ahead to test with later snapshots since 12w21b as I'm waiting for v1.3 to come out... let's hope nothing else changes
@ Technoapple1232: Actually not got MC:PE - I missed out on the "10app / day for 10p" special that google Play had , there's also a couple of things I want/wish for to happen with it before I do

Looks like (unless something drastically changes on the 1.3 release) my discovery is still valid
This is probably my favorite 1.3 seed. I started my base in one of the over-hangs at the spawn... It's by far the nicest place I've built a base yet!
I've just got back from a 2 week holiday so I've not had a chance to even update to 1.3.1 yet - but it's nice to know it still working with 1.3 (gotta check if the Mods' I use have been updated before I update minecraft.jar)

Unfortunatle the Xray MOD that I use doesn't allow 'spawners' to be highlighted - so I can't use that to try & find them...

EDIT #2: Mind you... you COULD make the world in 1.3.2 - go to the locations so that the chunks are made THEN convert to 12w41b - the stuff will still exist... it's only when new chunks are made will there be any differences

.. Anyway, just to bump an old thread I thought I'll try out my seed on the latest Released Minecraft to see whats changed (FYI world generation code changed in 1.7.2) which is currently 1.11.2 (I'm not going to do the latest snapshot)
I'm using a nearly Vanilla version (Basically only Forge, an Xray mod & journeymap) as I found adding 'some' mods can cause you to spawn in different places.
I'll add a few bits from Original Post here & then tell you whats changed in 1.11.2

Firstly the Amidst map has changed, as shown Above.
As you can see the general layout is similar, especially if you look at the two Mooshroom island up 'north', however there is now more landmass showing

Head toward -1240,328 and you'll find a Sea Temple,
Go due North from here until -1235,-309 & you'll find a 2nd sea temple,
Head East from here until -868,-346 for another Sea temple,
Then head North again from here to -867,-856 to find yet another Sea temple
Now onto the interesting bit...
Head NorthWest from this last temple until you reach -963,-1010
Here you will find a lone stone building under the water.. which just happens to be an End Portal room
Seems like my old seed still has some interesting things to find
