i havent tried very hard with the seed thing but does anybody really know how it works? besides that typing stuff results in specific maps being made? maybe typing numbers in a specific order makes it work more orderly? just spitballing.
Did "Harry Potter" turned around and found a big hole of sand. After changing my fog on I saw a light. Right below it completely covered in sand is a skeleton spawner :3
Please keep this about easter eggs! Anyone have any reason to believe there are any? Any code lurkers want to see if they can find any keywords or triggers that might put in preformed land into a world?
Typed in GLaDOS and then found an interesting cave.
But I had to recover the tools because command prompt didn't let me have anytime to save the game when it opened up.
The only problem I'd see with doing this would be the pre-designed chunk/s which would have to be 'injected' into the otherwise randomly generated one around it, and the info be saved in a non-conspicuous way that isnt easily found by code lurkers.
Not so... it could be as simple as redirecting "666" to a known seed that generates a world full of ice. Very little code needed to do something like that.
I doubt any of these are real easter eggs, just coincidences.
Still fun though.
Yup. Every "Easter egg" people get is wishful thinking. There's no Easter eggs in randomly generating stuff. All of it will be randomly generated. People will cling on to the slightest thread of hope and speculation with things like this. It's funny.

Try my Ironman Challenges: 404, Chuck Norris, Iron Man

I found two lava pools separated by one block. I spawn right next to them. Awesome.
Press F3 to see coordinates, then to to the coordinates 40, 65, 30.
I think this could be some kind of code.
"C418" gets you a series of sand valleys surrounded by trees.
Ill keep trying other stuff
Already proven wrong in this thread alone.
Sorry. People have tested it and proven it.

It dropped me into a cave with sandstone in it!
