I saw one block of diamond and a ton of lava in-between dying from falling or mobs.

i put "1" as a seed, got a desert

If you type in 1, you could possibly have 5+ stacks of clay in the first day.

That world is badass awesome. Theres a pile of clay right near there. One of the things i noticed right away is sandstone in the wild.

Typing in my username put me on one. Ironically, I hate those kinds of worlds. A little exploring found me a better area though, full of lakes.
