I'm wondering about the world pictured in the screenshot of the recent update. Is it a real seed or did they just build it that way? Because the mountain/cave thing with a nearby village looks pretty awesome for the type of forts I like to build. And if it is natural, does anyone know the seed and location of that screenshot?
Because this is without a doubt just artwork. Look in the background at those trees. Acacia's arent generally that dense and especially not so close to regular oak trees. So, even if it was based on a real world, I doubt it's one that was very natural.
Whatever you do, do not enter the kitchen. There's a monster in there. Its been there ever since that fateful night. The denizens of the mansion do not go near the kitchen. They can feels its presence.
We (forum staff) are trying to find out. It may take a while. I'm interested in playing that world too. Looks interesting.

If you aren't part of the solution, then you obviously weren't properly dissolved.
Honestly it doesn't look particularly remarkable. That's generally what Extreme Hills or Extreme Hills+ tends to look like between a forest and plains biome, which is fairly common. Take a nice long walk in one direction of any world and your bound to find something very similar to that if not more interesting.
I've seen extreme hills many times, but this one is very well put together, has a perfect setup for turning into a fortress, has a natural moat almost all the way around it, and has a village right in front of it. There was another picture from the other side that shows those last two details but I don't remember where I found it or I would post it.

No, not at all. That's obviously artwork. :/ I'm talking about the screenshot of the recent update. This one.

I like the looks of this world, too.
Any success finding this seed?

It doesn't look impossible at all. I'd put my money on it being a real seed.
