I checked out your world. You don't have a finished one hooked up to a decoder. You should finish one and show the community it in action to those who don't understand how fitting certain parts together would create a working one.
My friend and I most likely will use something similar in a microprocessor we are building. He planned on something like this before I showed him your post.
I made a first-of-its-kind scrolling text display with a buildt-in keyboard (without pistons) This can be used together with a computer to display text messages. It has a fixed GPU delivering 2fps. The input for this screen is 5 bits per 5 ticks, and this row of pixels travels to the left, ideal for viewing messages.
I have been working on all kinds of components in order to make this a stand-alone messaging device as well, but I think other people can make use of it even more. Did I say the screen is expandable in every direction?
To see the display in action, push a button somewhere inside the world.

The keyboard works using signal strength coordinates as showed beneath. A decoder for the coordinates needs to be invented.
I really hope someone find this usefull. It is the only screen with such high pixel density, I think Feedback is highly appreciated!

That's awesome! 1x1 pixel displays are pretty hard to make. And 2FPS is pretty awesome!
+1 diamond for you. ^-^
Have you considered making a multi-channel design to increase FPS?
I haven't managed to build such a GPU compact enough, because all the repeaters need to be set to 1 tick (see first attachment). Maybe it's super-simple to build and I may be super-stupid? Plz post it if you know how to
Attachment 2 shows that the repeaters extend the signal duration as well as delay.
3,333 fps?!
I doubt that, as 1 tick in-game is 1/20th of a second, meaning 20fps TRUE max.
As for what I meant about multi-channel, if possible, say you cut off ½ of the display (The half where the clock/controller isn't.)
Then you make a parallel on the other side, to hopefully acheive less buffer time with the torches and/or higher FPS.

Wrong, my gpu has 1:1 block:pixel ratio too (with 16 colors). However, it is amazing to see a creation that still relies on mostly [slow] redstone (not saying your restone is slow, i'm saying it's slow in general). One thing i got to say, your keyboard polling system is very unique and deserves my +1.
By slow redstone, I guess you talk about redstone without commandblocks?
Also, the keyboard is, when I think of it, perfect for attaching commandblocks to One cmd block under each button..?
One cmd block under each button will not work because it will trigger adjacent command blocks, unless you spread the buttons out, which i think should be done anyway in order to label each button with a sign .
I don't use lamps, i manipulate wool of different colors with command blocks. I also use a buffering system unique to only commandcore32 and my computer, making changing colors of pixels very efficient.
And btw, by 3,333 do you mean three-thousand and three hundred thirty three, or do you mean 3+333/1000? (people in europe use a comma as a decimal separator)

16 colors? How do you add colors to lamps? What?

OMG, my fault XD
I ment 3 and 1/3 frames per second
Wow, that is pretty awesome!

So sorry, didn't mean to say 3 thousand fps
Thank you
