Here is a really smart person who made it so that you can save your coordinates as scoreboard values.
Here is another really smart person who made it so that you can teleport to your scoreboard values.
Im trying to make a thing on my realm where any player can save their current location has their "home coordinates". Then they can teleport to those coordinates later. I originally put in each individual players coordinates into a different chain of command blocks but that got tedious and everyone kept moving. So can any of you really smart personeople help me stick these two amazing inventions together?
Note: It is imperative that this is multi player friendly.
Also, if you go to the actual links of the videos, they both have a downloadable world.

Save coordinates: I'd prefer using 1.13's /data command. It's WAAAY easier.
Teleport to the coordinates: I've checked the function from video 2. Yeah, I admit, he's smart.
So, if you are to combine them, just make sure that the coordinates from the scoreboard shown in the 1st video is used by the system in video 2.
For example, for the y-coordinate part, just add a command sth like this:
/scoreboard players operation @s scoretp_y = @s yPos
It may work, I haven't tried it yet.
