Hello,
I'm wondering how to prevent mobs (specifically skeletons) from rotating their heads up or down. I'm going to remodel a block and put it on a skeleton's head, then make the skeleton invisible to make what looks like a new/different mob. I need to know how to stop a skeleton from looking up and down because that would cause the block model to be awkwardly lifted off the ground.
I don't think the rotation tag would work, because that would limit it from looking left and right. I've also tried the command:
/tp @e[type=Skeleton] ~ ~ ~ ~ 0
, although that didn't seem to work either.
Thanks

That's strange, I thought I already posted a reply... Anyways,
I've done some testing, and the command does actually work, but it seems to have a bug. It works as expected, except for when the mob notices the player (i.e. comes into the mob's follow range, changes to survival mode). When that happens, the mob will look at the player (including upwards or downwards) until the player moves, then the command will start working again. I'm assuming that's just some sort of bug.

After you move, will the skeleton chase the player? .
You should not be using /execute in this command, /execute is only for changing the origin or sender. Here are the fixed commands.
