So I'm trying to make a command book or whatever with a cloud and rain and you click on it and it toggles down fall but it fails miserably you can look at it for your self but this is the command I type:
/give @p written_book 1 0 {author:"Unknown",title:"Book Of Rain",pages:["{text:'The Rain Dance', color:dark_gray, extra:[{text:'\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\_/\', color:dark_gray, bold:true, clickEvent:{action:run_command, value:'/toggledownfall'},{text:'/ / // / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / // / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / // / // // / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /', color:blue, bold:true, clickEvent:{action:run_command, value:'/toggledownfall'}}]}"]}
All is derp. That is the meaning of life. Never kill a pig and heavens door is right at your feet kill a pig and BURN IN HELL.
I think "extra:[]" isn't available for commands in text:"....."
That problem do waste me for an hour.
My problem is to make a sign with click event.
I try that like tellraw but won't work.After surfing the wiki
I found out youtubers told me the solution.
I don't know if it's right but I think this is the solution:
===============================================================================================================
give @p written_book 1 0 {author:"Unknown",title:"Book Of Rain",pages:[{text:'The Rain Dance',color:dark_gray,clickEvent:{action:run_command, value:'/toggledownfall'}},{text:'/ / // / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / // / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / // / // // / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /', color:blue,bold:true,clickEvent:{action:run_command, value:'/toggledownfall'}}]}
You must double literal backslashes.
This time it just gave me a blank book
I don't have time to use minecraft and solve it.
So,there are 3 ways.
1.Wait for the command block King come and hep you,but probably not now
2.Solve it by yourself by using /blockdata on other command block creations
3.Meet my 2 masters:Master Youtube & Master MC_Wiki.

You are correct but backslashes and slashes are a bit glitchy in books so you cant use them unless for like \n
/give @p written_book 1 0 {author:"Unknown",title:"Book Of Rain", pages: ["{text:'The Rain Dance\n', color:dark_gray, extra:[{text:'To the dance!\n', color:dark_gray, bold:true, clickEvent:{action:run_command, value:'/toggledownfall'} },{text:'ABDCEFA', color:blue, bold:true, clickEvent:{action:run_command, value:'/toggledownfall'}}]}" ] }
Also if you are in 1.9 snapsnots you need: 'text':'hello','color:'blue'
Cool Welcome Message using Unicode for Map Makers and Server Owners.
