but I can't find any with just the numeric data values. I'm really sorry bc this is 2 years after this forum was created but I would really appreciate it if you or someone could help.
When I say the numeric data value I mean the end result of this equation thing: (35+(14*4096)) = (35+(57344)) = 35+57344 = 57379 except for orange wool, green wool, blue wool, and magenta. Also another thing I was curious about is where you found the 35 in this equation thing (35+(14*4096)) = (35+(57344)) = 35+57344 = 57379. because that information wasn't mentioned in any of the websites listed above and i cannot find where it would be. I am really sorry if have no idea what this reply is about and if it just confuses you.
Edit: but I cannot find where you got 4096 from... and does it vary between blocks/colours?? think imma start my own forum seeing as his one is like 3 years old :p.
You need to change (id+(data*4096)) to the id of the block you want to have particles from. The id defines a block (for example, 1 for stone or 35 for wool). data is used when you want to have particles from blocks with a specific data value, such as granite or red wool for example.
The id of the granite block is the same as the stone: 1. However its data value is 1. Replace "id" with 1 and "data" with 1:
So the particle name of the granite block is blockcrack_4097.
Apply the same calculus for red wool (id of 35, data value of 14) and you'll get blockcrack_57379.
Like, how do you spawn the particles when you break a specific block?
Anyone?
Thanks!
When I put it on a command block, this appeared: Unknown effect name (blockcrack_(id+(data*4096)))
EDIT 1: Never mind!
EDIT 2: I still don't get it, where did the data value go in (id+(data*4096)) = (1+(1*4096)) = 1+4096 = 4097? You just added the ID to that number.
Okay, thanks! I thought it was for multiplying at first, but I didn't pay attention.
How to do with redstone block?
EDIT: Nevermind i found it out
Hi! Um so ive been trying to make myself nyan cat with the breaking block particles, but I cannot find out how to do it or any page with the "numeric data values" I have found ones such as: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Data_values http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Data_values#Wool.2C_Stained_Clay.2C_Stained_Glass_and_Carpet http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/minecraft.gamepedia.com/d/d1/DataValues.svg
