Hey guys! I'm a long-time Minecrafter and Redstoner, but I just recently started using Minecraft forums. I'm working on something where I'll give out MCEdit shcematics. You would import them into your world in the spawn chunks, press the auto setup button, and press enable. It's that simple! What I'm working on first is a custom crafting system. I've made the core of it. If you activate it and place down an upwards-facing dropper and throw a crafting table on top of it, it'll make a Crafter. This is signified by the smoke and fire which will be around it and some text in your chat saying "Crafter created!". If you destroy a Crafter, it will drop the crafting bench and say in your chat "Crafter destroyed!". Now this is as far as I've gotten. There will be one modular box needed for each crafting recipe you want. It'll be a little hard to set the recipe up due to the syntax, but I'll help you guys out if you need it. Once I finish everything, I'll give dropbox links to MCEdit schematics of everything you'll need to set up this pseudo plugin. I will make a second pseudo plugin based on giving extra purposes to items, such as jetpacks or other special items. This means you can have custom-crafted items which have special purposes. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to set up your own specialized items without knowledge of command blocks, but I will be responding to you and helping you out with that. Peace!

I'm sorry to say that, because of an unfixable bug, the custom crafting system has been taken down. I apologize for having to do this, but I could find no way to fix the bug where one recipe in the custom crafting table could lead to the output of a different recipe. There's no way to fix this without having to manually modify each and every recipe module. The grief prevention system has no such bug, so feel free to download and enjoy it.
I'm thinking of developing WorldGuard, or something similar to it, next. Do you guys think that's a good idea? Since Bukkit won't be updating for a LONG time, I think that I'll try remaking plugins that are most useful. WorldGuard is up next, then I'll ask you guys for suggestions unless I can come up with some on my own. If you downloaded the schematic, make sure to tell me if it worked, and be sure to report any bugs to me.
Alright, I finished a grief prevention plugin and have named it GriefDenial. How to use: To set up a protected area, place down a glass block and throw an iron block on top of it. If it works, the glass will turn red and particles will spawn around it. You will also see something in chat which says "Protection created!". When you import the schematic, just press the auto setup button, then the enable button. If anyone other than yourself comes into your protected area, they'll be put into adventure mode. Don't worry - TNT doesn't work, either! Any TNT which spawns in your area will be deleted instantly. This means that nothing will happen in block form, but as soon as it turns into an entity, it'll be destroyed. Here's a link to download the schematic. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9v2733ycvw9bd3d/GriefDenial.schematic?dl=0. Warning: May cause lag if you have a bad server.
I'm wondering, since that version only works for people in survival, do you guys want a version that works in creative? As in it will disable players, even in creative mode, from editing your area. Note that in both versions, people can still open chests and interact with redstone input devices such as buttons, levers, and pressure pads. They cannot place, break, modify, or edit other blocks. They cannot change the timing on repeaters or light fire. If you guys want, I can make a few tiny changes so that this will work for players in creative mode. There would be two versions: One that's for creative servers, one that's for survival servers. Tell me what you think!
Alright, guys! I made one that works for Creative mode, too. It puts players in Spectator mode instead of creative. Everything else works exactly the same. Except... The stained glass is blue instead of the red that it is for the survival mode one. Anyways, here's a link! https://www.dropbox.com/s/z8x69fnl8u430k5/GriefDenialCreative.schematic?dl=0
For any admins who want to remove someone else's protection, run these two commands and the protected area will transfer owners to you. First, get right on top of or next to the protection block and do /scoreboard players operation @e[name=Protection,r=5] ID = @p ID then do /scoreboard players remove @e[name=Protection,r=5] ID 1 and go into whatever gamemode you please, it now belongs to you. In this way, you can also have multiple protections belonging to you. Be careful when changing the ID scoreboard objective of players, though, as it can screw with their ability to create protections. If you want to create a protection that NOBODY can edit, create it, get near it, and type /scoreboard players set @e[name=Protection,r=5] ID 0 and it will not have a matching ID with anyone. This is likely what you want to use to protect the box itself, because bedrock and command blocks can be broken by anyone in creative. Set that up and rest assured that your pseudo plugin box is safe.
You're not at all interested in my area protection thing? Also, you have to set something up manually for every crafting station. That's against the point of my system.
I am proud to announce that after hours of testing, developing, and coming close to ripping my hair out twice trying to fix a single, tiny bug, I have fixed the original Custom Crafting schematics! You still need the core to allow everything to be set up and one recipe module per recipe. Note that you need at least some knowledge of command blocks to change the recipe and output of a module. If you guys need help with that, that's what I'm here for. The default recipe is still one stone in the center of the custom crafting table being turned into two stone slabs. You still create a table by placing a dropper facing upwards and drop a crafting table on top of it. I removed the particle effects due to them causing extreme lag. Here are the links. Core (You will need one of these to run everything): https://www.dropbox.com/s/ctk9yji7d8glfvo/CraftingCore.schematic?dl=0. Recipe module (You will need one of these for every recipe): https://www.dropbox.com/s/nv2ege0b72b8d9z/CustomRecipe.schematic?dl=0.
Being a nerd is nothing to be ashamed of. Nerds rule the world! Who invented the internet? Nerds. Who created personal computers and smart phones? Nerds. Who made every video game you've ever played and ever will? Still nerds. Who sent probes to distant planets? Nerds, nerds and more nerds! I'm a nerd and I'm proud.
The owner is able to modify the area in any way they please, but others cannot. They can't light fire, they can't break or place blocks. What they can do is open chests, kill any mob, drop and pick up items, and toggle blocks (Open doors, flip levers, push buttons, etc). Nice signature, by the way.
I think only the custom crafting one would be useful for adventure maps. You don't need special protected areas that every player can have in an adventure map, they're likely to be in adventure or spectator mode the whole time. If you want to be able to create items with different recipes, then you can feel free to use my custom crafting system. If you have any questions or suggestions, then make sure to reply below.
Update: The custom crafting recipe modules are now smaller (7x5x4 instead of 9x5x5, an 85 block difference!) and cause less lag (Instead of 20 entities summoned per second per crafting table per recipe module, then killing all of them, it is now ONE entity per table. Not summoned, just one per table.)

Hey! I like your works, they are awesome! The protection "plugin" will be very helpful.
I would like to suggest you to make a "Tree Capitator" or "Timber" in vanilla MC. I was always dreaming of this possible, but all things like this that I found were very laggy.
Anyways, keep up good work
