I need some help with my health system here. Im trying to get it so when you hit a pressure plate one heart goes out then hit it again and the next one goes out.

I give up the footage I got was horrible, so I made it and took a picture instead, everything must be to exact measurements, the three pistons closest to the camera are the health, this is just a general idea

Why don't use a ring counter with RS NOR Latches? Or that counter design made by someone that can add and substract and lights up the previous outputs too.
