Hi Guys I need your opinion on my design for the secert hidden door.
That's the quick tutorial to make it! Im currently working on the Second Part! the third is ready.
Part 3:
Thanks!
Kind of unoriginal, but you expanded on the idea and explained it very well. I am sure this video would be great for people who don't already understand how to do this.
Well I sorta learnt this on my own messing around with redstone wiring, so ya! And thanks guys for the response im uploading Part 3 atm and ill make part 2 toniite! :biggrin.gif:
there is a simpler way to wire the red stone. Keep in mind that if you power one piston, it will power the one below it. with this in mind you can greatly reduce the structure down.

Yup and I agree. Since i had a little more space i thought i should make it more spaced out but when someones actually going to use this design they can do whatever they like. :tongue.gif:
The problem with this was that most of the tut i found were hard to understand and very complicated so i just started messing around and found this way to do it! :smile.gif:
not bad =D but just that door has been done a lot of times, though if you made it your self and you are new to redstone it's fantastic xD the most compact door I've seen in that size is this:
I've seen that design as well but like i said in my third part it uses pressure plates! not much of a hidden door riite? And I do admit i could have made it more compact. And Thanks! :smile.gif:
At first I was kinda feeling weird watching a redstone tutorial from someone that basically doesn't even know the basic logic gates, but then I started thinking.. And for teaching people that don't know anythinga bout redstone, it might actually be ok.
Actually I do know the basic logic gates (and, or, nor and so on),but i never knew that they applied in minecraft! :tongue.gif:

If I am not mistaken, that's what he meant.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
Oh he did but what i was responding to "At first I was kinda feeling weird watching a redstone tutorial from someone that basically doesn't even know the basic logic gates", That doesn't really mean what you bolded but I get your point. :smile.gif:
