Hey smile my ticker is finished, didn't take as long as I thought it did, amazingly the last three character had all their timing magically perfect, I wired them up and they were perfect on the first test!
I'm going to do a video in a few minutes, then I need a few screenies, and I'll post it then =]

Well the paint is basically done within a few hours once I get the testing to see if any redstone is missing.
So just like the old paint.
1. Friendly user interface with a cursor that moves.
2. Save position of cursor to make indent
3. clear board.
What is new is.
1. ability to Minimize the Paint App if you can't locate your cursor. So once minimized, the only thing that is on the display is the cursor. (Work that is on the GPU is saved, it is only minimixed not closed.
2. Blinking cursor too mush lag already, I rather have something static, so it's taken out.
3. Ability to save and load picture from Hard drives, there are two hard drives at the moment, the design can allow 5 hard drives which means 5 pictures can be saved on the machine.
4. The ability to load an image on the hard drive onto the GPU's Ram to be edited.
5. The ability to turn an individual pixel off or on, so you have an eraser and a pencil as your current tools selected.
I really don't think I will work on it more But there is so much room left over since I am only using 45 block height that I am compelled to do something with it. (I am highly unlikely since I want to work on something else.)
If I was to work on it. Which will be on Paint Version 3.0
1. Sound card ( I do have the designs worked out, but I need to figure how you can edit the sound file that is going to be saved on the Sound's card ram.
2. A Data compresses, Since I am using a matrix, the data for a 16 x 16 display can be compressed onto a 2 line code which will fit quite snug on the hard drive.
2a. A Data Decompresser. To decode the compressed data. Which means I will need at least an ALU, since that's how my compression works.
3. Speed up the ticks on the GPU so that once the compressed module is created I Can store enough pictures to create a video on a highly compact configuration.
3a. The hard drive has enough room, With the current design I was able to create a hard drive with 9,600 bits or about 2.4k Kilobytes if it was all in 8 bits.
What I need to do is create a reader and writer, Simple I already have designs.
4. CREATE AN ALU from a GPU. (This is going to be awesome)< Probably once I create this, I can create the compression.
5. GAMES!!!!!!
What I am happy for is when creating this design of paint, I was able to create everything myself, everything is my design beside the horizontal counter- it was just too good.
1.Vertical Counter.
2.Volatile Ram
3.Hard drive, (actually it's tomys design)
4.Everything is modular so anyone can copy and paste to make the design bigger.
5.MY OWN GPU, i scraped Tomys gpu and created my own.
Here is my simpe Paint application in Minecraft.
Above is my old 2011 project that I liked, I don't play that much minecraft anymore but I occasionally help out on the Redstone forum. Hope my answers can be of help, let me know if I am unclear, and a +REP would be nice for me.

That is awesome! And, I do know how people could edit a sound card.
It's pretty easy with pistons now, seeing as noteblocks cant go off if a block is on them, so just have pistons cover every single noteblock, until someone makes music and customizes it by sending a current into those pistons, to lift the block, that way, when it plays, it'll hit that note. That's the MPU I'm using for the RSPU.
The whole thing seems amazing, mind blowing, I cannot wait dude!
I do appreciate how you ghost, and probably a few others actually pay attention to my thread and the comments and progression, you seem to reply to comments as much as me, and I love that, thanks man.
well for the sound card, I was trying to make it so that you could edit, for example.
The Paint is not just a paint but a punchcard editor basically, think of the pixel as one and zeros, the paint app does the same thing but not as big as I want the sound card, atm if I turn the paint into the sound card, all it can play is 64 notes.
As the counter goes down the line reading the lines of 1 and 0 it will play that like one of those musical note boxes, like I said I already have the design but.
I am looking for something bigger so you can basically play at least 4 songs.
I was thinking that the data compresser i am making later going to solve this problem but the problem is speed.
This is fully modular meaning that I can have one line with 100 pixels , there is no problem reading the lines one by one, I can have all the noteblocks; Bass Guitar, Snare Drum, Sticks, Bass Drum, Piano
The other problem is getting the editor that is currently in paint to work with that, I have it but it wont fit in the loaded chunks then.
Here is my simpe Paint application in Minecraft.

Not quite Pac Man, and the redstone is just to automate it, but what is the point otherwise?
Title: Minecraftian Pac Man
Is it finished: No
Description: (Copy and pasted from somewhere else I posted it)
My best WIP is Minecraftian Pac Man. It's been a pain to create, as I have had to make custom RS NOR latch arrays, It will contain a custom maze similar to that of Pac Man, 5 40 segment digits (meaning it can track scores from 00000 to 99999 before going to _0000 (I have not decided whether or not to have it overlap to 00000)), and about 20000 pieces of redstone (This is the lower guesstimation), as I am building this thing on a server w/o the use of the give command. More rewarding that way in my opinion. Not to mention I still have a seemingly endless supply of redstone from the community. As for things such as scoring, there are pressure plates every 2 meters, each of which give 1 point except for the corner ones, which give 5 points. Mobs act as ghosts, and I have two methods to get them in the maze. First is a mob trap similar to that of Kieshar's 30x80 Practical SMP Mob Trap. Second is to get the admin to break the 'all blocks must be obtained through normal vanilla game play, with the exception of buying and antigriefing' rule and copy a mob spawner for me, ensuring a constant supply of mobs (zombies preferably). Third is getting mobs to drop dead when the player loses (mobs can press plates, which is one difference between this and normal Pac Man, which can lead to some different strategies), is to have lava in the wait for the end of the game (one of the few manual things in this). My Minecraftian Pac Man also contains no levels, just an endless maze with plates that reset themself with time (So you cannot just stand in one place and endlessly score).
Well, as for the current state of things, I am in stage two, which is building the array. All the input wires have been organized to a wall (sorta), which was stage one. There are seven stages (The orgainizing, the array, the counter, the display, the mob spawner, the cleanup, and the control board.)
So yes, there are some major changes from normal Pac Man to this version of Pac Man. I really do not care. All of this is partly because redstone is slow, and partly because I believe if people wanted to play Pac Man, they would play Pac Man, so this is Minecraftian Pac Man.
Screenshots:
Yes... Not exactly the best with redstone. This is a picture from under the gameboard where you play the game.
Downloads: Its on a 300mb SMP server, so I'm not sure you want it.

And also, if you want the download, then use WorldEdit and get the schematic.

Video? My computer isnt the best, but the community has been trying to get me to record Pina Park (My building grounds/theme park) so I will see if anyone can upload footage of whats done so far, and while I cannot use WorldEdit, I am pretty sure our admin can. Meaning I can probably get the Schematics. I think. Not too good with mods and plugins and all that stuff. Just a redstone engineer xD.

Well, can you try get the schematic and send a download link along with a video, and plonk the schematic into MCEdit and put it on a world, and send me a download link with the world too.
So that way everyone can see your creation! :smile.gif:
Title: Paint 2.0
Is it finished: Yes
Description: This is a small painting application that does more than the original from Tomys. Inspired by Tomys GPU/Paint I have taken the liberty to introduce Paint 2.0
You can control the cursor to insert a pixel, if you feel you made a mistake you can turn that pixel back to nothing if you want without clearing the entire board. If you want to work on another project you can save your work on one of the two hard drives, once saved you can view it or edit it by loading it to the display or the gpu.
small features that I included is the ability to stand on the up and down pressure plates to Scroll it up or down without having to jump on it all the time (The right and left still require you to do that.) This was a long project and this is essentially my upcoming of a small computer.

That is amazing. Truly amazing. Definitely the best here! I will get this right at the top of the post, and make sure it stands out, you sir, are amazing. I almost feel like this would beat Shrogg's 3d Printer, Space Invaders... Everything, you deserve a medal.
Thankyou so much for submitting it to ME of all people, and wow, hopefully this will bring more people to the post, and more people to see your amazing creation.

Yes... Not exactly the best with redstone. This is a picture from under the gameboard where you play the game.
Downloads: Its on a 300mb SMP server, so I'm not sure you want it.
Videos: None
Impressive, but hey, I wont upload this just yet, can you get a video?
:smile.gif:

Videos: (Optional) Videos for your creation.
Above is my old 2011 project that I liked, I don't play that much minecraft anymore but I occasionally help out on the Redstone forum. Hope my answers can be of help, let me know if I am unclear, and a +REP would be nice for me.
Thanks!!!
