I need some help. I'm trying to find a way to detect when a player has broken any block around them. I know that there is a scoreboard objective on breaking certain blocks, but that will require me to make a lot of scoreboard objectives. So what I'm trying to ask is, is there a way to detect any kind of block broken by the player without using so many scoreboard objectives? Thank you for the people who can, and can't help me!
There is no 'easy' command to fix this. You could consider (ab)using an advancement, but that would only expand your problem. Instead of having to add scoreboards you'd now be looking at adding customized scripts (both the advancement as well as a script to go with it).
Quite frankly I don't understand what's stopping you from using the scoreboard. That's what it was meant for and it really isn't that much work.
