Hey, I'm currently playing Resonant Rise and I have a Solar Generator powering my Farming Station. With the Solar Generator it needs a redstone signal to power the farming station but it won't charge unless there's no redstone signal, it won't keep charging even if it runs out of power so I need to be able to activate and deactivate a redstone signal automatically every few minutes so it has some time to charge and time to power the farming station. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I could do for this? Preferably something fairly compact or can be hidden underground.
-What is your "baterry" you are charging? How do you use solar generator? What is your problem? On which plateform of Minecraft are-you (computer, ios)?
Can I have a picture and a brief text explaining what you are looking for?
Me I think you want something to catch all the different redstone power the solar detector sent? Am I on the right way?
Answer me to any of my questions asked upwards for help
I'll post a screenshot of what it looks like below. The Solar Generator works by a redstone signal, a simple lever works. During the day when the generator is outside it starts collecting RF as long as it has no redstone signal. When it has a redstone signal it sends the RF to whatever it's hooked up to. I have it hooked up to an EnderIO Farming Station which is planting my magical crops and harvesting them for me and putting them in the diamond chest. What I want is something that can turn the redstone signal on and off every few minutes automatically so I can leave it on farming overnight or when I'm away. The solar generator won't charge and send power to the farming station at the same time, I can only have it do one or the other which is why I need something that turns the signal on and off.
So, what I have understood is you want a redstone signal flashing on and off, at each x seconds/minutes. If it is this, simply create a hopper-latch hopper clock. It turns on at x minutes and off at each x. The time it takes to alternate is determined by the number of items you put in the upper hopper (+1item= 0.5 second). You can turn it off by turning on a lever on the side block (it with an comparator on top).
I think it is what you want. I hope it'll help you. If no, say me what's Wong, if yes right comment and thanks.
Yup. That worked perfectly. I filled up the hopper with stone and connected one of the torches to the generator and now it both charges and powers the farming station. It lasts long enough to fill up the 1m RF in the farming station as well as long enough to fill up the generator to full. Thanks for the help.
