But I was wondering if its possible to combine these commands in such a way so that I can 'give'/use a spawn egg that will only spawn a 'Farmer' each time it's used, or even a 'Librarian' ??
Oh forgot to mention... is it possible in Minecraft 1.8 (not 1.9)
Ok I admit I have no real idea of if this is even possible, but I do know that you can do 'some' things using entitytags etc but...
Q: Is it possible to be able to 'give' a player a custom Villager Spawn Egg that will only spawn one type of Profession ??
I know you can summon a villager trade using something like:-
(even though for some reason I still get a random 'Farmer Career' and not the one I want)
I also know you can add effects onto mob that are spawn by the egg by using something like:-

Many thanks for that, but isn't that a 1.9 only command ?? Doesn't work in 1.8
(actually doesn't seem to work quite right in 1.9 snapshot either - the villagers are invisible).
Had to use below (I don't care about effects. just spawning a particular Villager trade) in 1.9 to work correctly
Is there an equivalent for 1.8 ??
If so, how could/would it look to get a villager to trade custom villager eggs ?
As far as I know, adding data tags to spawn eggs is not possible in 1.8
The best way to do this is to name the spawn egg and summon the wanted mob at the named entity, then kill the named entity.
