Hi. I'm currently trying to make a custom map, and was wondering if anyone new how to make a CommandBlock emit a Redstone Signal once, whenever someone enters the specified area?
I'd like it to emit a Redstone Signal connected to another Command Block with the command /title in, so whenever someone enters that specified zone, the first Command Block will activate the second, which will tell any players within a specified radius "Welcome to blah, blah, other stuff" (Just as an example.)
If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it, as it would help me with the creation of my map.
This might work for maps designed for singleplayer:
/testfor @a[x,y,z,r=10]
Hook the above command to a clock, and replace the [x,y,z,r=10] to your needs.
Then, have a comparator point outwards from the command block and run this command in another command block for the output:
/title @a[x,y,z,r=10] title "Message"
Once again, replace the [x,y,z,r=10]
If you wish for a multiplayer friendly version, it will be slightly more complicated.
If you know how to set up /fill clocks, run the following in the precise order of activation (i.e. lower y value to trigger sooner)
/scoreboard objectives add Area1 dummy
/scoreboard players set @a Area1 0
/scoreboard players add @a[x,y,z,r=10] Area1 1
/title @a[score_Area1_min=1,score_Area1=2] title "Message"
Remember to place them in this exact order so that the top command triggers first. Replace the [x,y,z,r=10] with the desired location you want the title to appear.
Thanks, Roxias, this will help a lot. I've tested the single-player compatible version, and it works, but I don't know how to make a 'Fill Clock'. I'll do some research, and learn how to make one. Thanks so much for the help, and thanks for such a quick reply!

Unfortunately, the world I was going to use this in now crashes Minecraft. It's nothing to do with the Redstone. I tried to take a screenshot, and it crashed, and wont load the world again. D:
The screenshot saved, but the world crashes every time I open it.
Maybe it was just a bug and Mojang noticing him solve as soon as possible.
Yeah, I sent a CrashReport from the launcher. Not sure if it sent or not though, as it did't tell me. I asked my brother to see if his Minecraft works, and he said he'll try soon. Thanks for the reply
I tried another world, and it crashed as well. I think I broke my game somehow. I might have to re-install, but I'll have to backup so many worlds!

You have reported the crash to Mojang?

Nothing to see here.
