Set up a fill clock and put in "/execute (@a, @e, @p, @e[type=Zombie], whatever you want, you know how it goes) ~ ~ ~ particle (particle command parameters)" Then you should be done.

If there is a possible way of doing it with effect, may I know?
I am not trying to spawn[/b] [/i]mobs with summon, for these effects, I'm trying to affect existing ones that have naturally spawned.
It seems as if I am able to effect all mobs with @a, but I'm not able to use the format that is usable for other commands, with this command. Is it not possible to set an effect for a specific mob everywherE?"
There's probably no way to extend how far mobs can detect you, is there?
Probably not though
The 'followRange' attribute indicates the range at which mobs will aggro. Just be careful with how high you set the value, as it can cause extreme server lag (staying around 100 should work fine):
So, when going along with, selecting specific things to execute a command on ([type=Player], or [type=Creeper]) Is it possible to put multiple multiple entities, or affect all except a specific one?

Currently you cannot have multiple of the same parameter, as only the last one inserted will be used. You'd either need to use multiple commands, each targeting a different type:
/tp @e[type=Player] X Y Z
/tp @e[type=Creeper] X Y Z
Or some form of identification such as a /scoreboard score, and then target the entities with that particular score:
/scoreboard objectives add OBJECTIVE dummy
/scoreboard players set @e[type=Player] OBJECTIVE 1
/scoreboard players set @e[type=Creeper] OBJECTIVE 1
/tp @e[score_OBJECTIVE_min=1] X Y Z
Using /scoreboard would only be helpful if you plan on using more than 1 command to target the entities based on their score.
Thanks, I was just wondering of for a more convenient way of doing this rather than piling more command blocks, but I guess I'll just pile up on command blocks and work on what i was working on.
I've jsut been making simple games myself and my brother to see what I can do, it's nothing too good anyways.
Unfortunately there isn't a way to detect it. You can use /weather to set clear weather, but if the duration runs out you'll need to do it again (so a clock may be needed). The maximum number of seconds you can set is 1,000,000, roughly 11 realtime days:
Along with that, is there a way to detect if a player is in the air?
EDIT-- I should've edited the previous post for the extra question...
wink wonk another Edit-- Also thanks Sky for being one of the most persistent ones to help me with my silly questions.
EDIT: Another question that may not be answered with a positive reply, is there a way to make mobs chase you even if they're not in view of you? I have got the Range thing down (shown in quote), I haven't used it yet because the last map I built was too big of a project for my puny mind and lonesome, so I trashed the idea but I'm beginning on another map that's probably not smaller, but more compact and easier to choose along of how to build it.

2edit4me-- Best interne- I surely don't have, thanks TWC.
My current map... I'm far more fond of grids, and maze-y maps, it's just the type that amuse me. The map is... pretty much 3% done (Default program of opening images is sadly, photoshop, and i'm too lazy to upload an image so I just used prntscr. also i'm too lazy to correctly use the Clone command right)
EDIT-- Just to note, I do attempt to look up all my questions when I have the chance with my internet, this post is a last resort
Along with another question, is it possible to set an age to a solid block?
Oh jeez, this would've helped me so much for one of the previous game maps I made...
Not quite sure what you mean by this, can you please elaborate?
As in, if there's a wall/floor/ceiling between a Player and a Mob, the mob would still be able to detect the Player, and eventually go to the Player's position to attack.
--Sorry for slower replies, my internet isn't fond of me. Blame TWC.
--Along with that I finaly found a page that has a list of nbtags, not sure how much help it'll be at all, though.
Thread created for the variety of questions I'm bothering to ask and such, old thread
--I believe it's something along with /execute,
How could I possibly direct a particle effect onto a mob and/or a player?
Set up a fill clock and put in "/execute (@a, @e, @p, @e[type=Zombie], whatever you want, you know how it goes) ~ ~ ~ particle (particle command parameters)" Then you should be done.

I firgued it out a while ago, thanks anyways.
As mentioned in my previous thread,

Nevermind, I got it myself, the issue was I was using @a, instead of @e, it must've been causing issues
As I've seen in adventure maps, how do people allow special custom mobs to stay alive, and not have naturally spawned mobs spawn?
Google is cruddy website for attempting to search any variations of my questions...
If you mean prevent mobs from despawning, the "PersistenceRequired" tag will do so when set to 1:
As for disabling natural mob spawns, the "doMobSpawning" gamerule must be set to false:You can find all NBT data for entities/tile entities here: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Chunk_format

<nonsense that i deleted, i found out my own simple way>
Yet my previous post, I still need to know if there's a possible way of this

Any way to keep velocity while teleporting with /tp?
