Can I use /execute to work for snowballs I need it for a map and I am trying to this with this command /execute @e[type=Snowball,name=killerball] ~ ~ ~ /kill @e[type=!Player] thanks
Yeah but the thing is I have multiple snowballs with powers like one does /execute @e[type=Snowball] ~ ~ ~ /summon Wolf but what happens is if I do that it kills the wolf and does multiple execute commands is there any way I can make it so that I can have different snowballs do different things

or you can do what i did and just have a splash potions that do nothing along with the snowball and any other kinda of entity that way you can have more than one. or do what The_child_purge did that way it would easier on you then making more things

natratvm the other meathod messed with other power balls could you explain your meathod
You could have a system that tests for if you have a snowball with a certain name in your active slot. If you do, then it will make any snowballs thrown by you do a specific thing. So for example, if you have a snowball named "Wolfball" in your active slot, then it will make it so any snowball you throw will turn into a wolf and then make the snowball not have a special effect.
In order to make the snowball do certain things, you could have a command block on a clock with no command in it, and once one of the named snowball command blocks activate, it will power a command block with a blockdata command that will rewrite the command to like /execute @p ~ ~1 ~ /execute [type=Snowball,r=2] ~ ~ ~ /summon Wolf ~ ~ ~
This is all probably really confusing, so I can make a world download with this in it if you want. Just ask.

create a /testfor @e[type=Snowball] then lead it into a comparater, into a repeater set for 3 ticks and however long you want it to be. From there lead it into a compareter that you right click so the torch turns on, place one redstone in front of that compareter, one on the right side and one in the corner of the two. From there lead a trail of redstone from the one in the corner into a command block reading /execute @e[type=Snowball,c=1] ~ ~ ~ /kill @e[type=!Player,r=3] I wish minecraft could add in multiple tags so you could go [type=!Player, type=!Snowball] however that does not work. Any problems contact me and yeah, No problem.

Well, I think I found what I'LL be in the after life. <3 Goats for life.
You also need to tell me what the 6-8 commands for the snowballs should be.
well I have not decided yet on all of them but most of them involve tping the mob you hit with a snowball to a zoo and the other one is /execute @e[type=Snowball] ~ ~ ~ /setblock ~ ~1 ~ web
I know that, but I don't want to use witherskulls because soon they will be changed and you won't be able to use them as position holders. I'm going to try a small armorstand instead.

/execute @e[type=Snowball] ~ ~ ~ /kill @e[type=!Player]
This command would also kill the snowball itself, and every other non-player in the world.

Single player and for about 6-8
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRlPiAJZ7HystUeKPn0ALqg
/execute @e[type=Snowball] ~ ~ ~ /kill @e[type=!Player, r=2, c=2]
this will kill one entity(and the snowball) with in 2 blocks, first selecting the closest
