If you don't mind me asking, what do you think of the update so far?
With all the new biomes and stuff it's most likely going to be tied for the best update with 1.5.
I'd love to live in a disco biome free clay for me ;D. It seems like this is adding more content and not focusing on 1 specific thing(Besides biomes ) Like how 1.6 focused on horses. I really like the new flowers too.

I have a skin. It was just an idea so you could make your appearance different a little whenever you want in game. So you don't have to keep changing your skin.
I was just asking you. (On a side note, I admit I wouldn't at all mind if others respond, but that's just because I would love to hear what they think as well.)
It's good to hear you're so excited about it, and I agree that it seems quite nice. I think our positions are reversed on the sprint keys and biomes, however; I'm not sure how much I'm going to like the new biomes, or whether I'll immediately think they fit, but I think a sprint key is a logical and handy addition. If there's one thing I'll give the biomes, it's that I think they're going to add some great variation to the game.
I completely agree about the biome borders and plants as well. I'm not sure whether I want the plants to have a use or not; I might prefer them as just an addition to have fun with. I'm also looking out for the "community-oriented feature" (did they already reveal it?) and the new fishing mechanic, I'm more than a little interested in those.
In all honesty, I'm was a bit disappointed that I couldn't learn more about the update via snapshot today, but it's not by any means a big deal and I'm much happier seeing that they're working on new plants. Besides, I'm sure the new biome transitions and biomes are more than enough to handle.
I agree, and I like the idea of podzol/a dark brown surface. I've always liked larger trees as well.
"Hate" is too strong a term for what I feel about double-tapping the forward key, I think it's fine, just that a sprint key will offer general improvements, especially with any server lag.

I see where you're coming from on the additions, but to be fair, 1.6 added much more than horses. I'm glad you like it, though.
In my opinion this upcoming update will one of the greatest. New biomes to mix it up a bit. (Not to mention the borders thing) A sprint key which hopefully helps sprint lag. New plants, which we don't know much about. And finally "the hidden addition" The wall in the sunflower picture has been reveled by jeb on twitter that the wall is in fact hiding something.
Plus the fixed lighting glitch THANK YOU SO MUCH, and spruce trees in extreme hills biome which I think is pretty cool.
If this is for the first snapshot ONLY, then holy moly it's going to be one heck of an update
hopefully with new blocks and even mobs for all the different biomes
I am gonna repeat what I said in the other thread. If you look at the flower pictures it looks like the grass is occupying the same space as the flowers and is 2 blocks tall, it doesn't look like normal grass. Also in both pics they flowers were completely in dirt so perhaps they need to be on dirt to grow (alternatively just an aesthetics choice). Lastly I wonder what he is holding in his hands, it could be seeds or maybe the new grass. Who knows.
Maybe if clothes could take a weak enchantment, but aren't damaged the way armour is?

YAY NEW FLOWERS!
I have been waiting for this. :3
... And new Biomes? I think the Redwood should have a new creepy mob...
This update's gonna be awesome!
Added, thank you to all of you. I'm also a bit surprised how much Jeb is focusing on flowers. I hope they at least all actually do something unique, not just give an alternative for dye since we can already obtain all the colors.
A true gem in the mine of updates (trying to sound sophisticated.)
But for real, it looks like its doing good. Those canyons will be a BEAUTIFUL touch.
And those *RedWood* biome pictures look amazing. Kind of creepy.
The new biome formations will be handy and will probably motivate me to explore.
And the bind-sprint-to-key mechanic will also make things easier, in my OP. I hate having to double tab W.
Well, that's my 2 cents.

Wow, several kinds? Well, added, and thank you yet again for your contribution. I swear you've shown me more than everyone else put together.
Out of curiosity...........
