Did a wee bit of experimenting and discovered something extemely useful to those who use pistons or redstone in general:
and:
For reference that's a sticky piston
By the looks of it, slime blocks can now pull other blocks when pushed. I did a wee bit of testing. You can have a total of 12 blocks pushed per piston, sand will still fall if adjacent to a slime block. And if you connect a slime block to a block and then to another slime block the other slime block won't pull anything or be pulled itself.

I decompiled 14w18a to figure out a few more details (like what happens if the slime block is next to a furnace, or next to a block that's next to a furnace), and started writing it up at http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Slime_Block#Motion_by_pistons.
Nice! Might I recommend a configuration like this for the wiki. It's more cost effective. (Let it be noted, this isn't mine. I stole it from sethbling, who in turn stole it from some guy on reddit.)

I made a 4-seated flying machine. I'll upload images of it once I get home.
Yeah, there's a lot of great designs floating around for self perpetuating flying machines, but I haven't seen any that stabily hold a player, let alone four. How do you hold players in, boats or minecarts perhaps?

You make an arm that sits to the side and then build a little "pod" of sorts.
Screenshots, as promised:
I know it looks like a random mess of material, but it actually works quite well and, while slightly slower than walking speed, is extremely fun. It looks a lot better from the top/bottom.
This screenshot was taken mid-flight.
There are a few other screenshots that are barely different than the above image here: http://imgur.com/a/SmBc2
I made a pretty good design for a fully automatic flying machine. It is not too resource intensive and it is easy to build. Since you're supposed to stand within the two open fence gates at the front of the machine, it also provides protection from mobs (since mobs can't see players hiding inside open fence gates). This allows you to go afk without having to worry about death from mobs.

Is too much Slime Blockม But it may also be used.

I await the stories of people building on MP servers and one of these comes sauntering towards them out of nowhere. Would scare the crap out of me.

In the real world, you stick your head in the dirt to hide from problems.
In Minecraft, you stick your head in the dirt to find problems.

There is some beautiful thought in that design!

Anyways, seemed like a big deal.Well never mind, just found this among a certain bone's tweets. https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/461189042659672064

Seriously, I'm NOT good at english.
I'm just a passing asian guy.
Nope. It works. It was actually moving when I took the screenshots. If you look at some of the pistons, you can see that they're lagging.
It works.

It is way over-engineered though. You can get the same effect for a quarter of the blocks that you used, if that.

I can finally do automated doors using the style I used in Tekkit..
;-; <-- Tears of joy.
Fantastic! Next step: I'm sure you can see this coming... Flying auto-cannons!! Or even just Bombers that drop TNT from above.
